  • what serenity and beauty ...

  • This music is magic !!!

  • Beautiful is the only word I can use to describe this piece of music..I get goosebumps all over everytime I listen to it..It's a shame can't have it go on for as long as some pieces of music..I love it.

  • what a beautiful piece of music, nothing else to be said really.

  • muy bella melodía, pero se ha de escuchar increíble en vivo.

  • This music is wonderful! Thank you.

  • hannibal is my favorite cannibal...i love anthony hopkins and gaspar ulliel

  • Molto.....BELLA...

  • This song just makes me think of Rome and the Vatican, sat outside a cafe in the evening, or strolling around the city, my ex girlfriend being clapped and gawped at by every passing Italian male.

    Good times...

You would think Hannibal would be in his element with the lack of manners Italian men have. A true massacre lol.

  • im always in a rush to change to the next song on my ipod listening to this because of that horrid noise at the end

  • @sammysnakejones I know just what you mean. Odd no one else mentions that. This is the last song on the soundtrack CD and I always jump up to avoid that "horrid noise" also. Great minds think alike is all I can come up with.

  • wenn ich bei google-übersetzer "Vide cor meum" eingebe kommt "Siehe mein Herz" aber wenn ich "Vide Cor Meum", also alles groß schreibe kommt "Lecter" raus xD

  • Magnifique, splendide...

  • also used in kingdom of heaven, love it, beautiful

  • Absolutly Beautiful.....I always think of when I visited Florence! Thanks

  • Beautiful serenity true essence of romance within the lyrical concept of music

  • I want this in the background if I ever carve MY face off

  • This music is so freakin Beautiful it doesnt need me to say anything.

    6-13-11

  • zo mooi

  • Vide Cor Meum means: Behold my heart :)

  • Ridley Scott used this in his film "Kingdom of Heaven" too. Been looking for it ever since! Beautiful music, now I have to buy the soundtrack!

  • 7 people will listen the quote... "Bowels In, Or Bowels Out?"

  • Sir Anthony Hopkins FTW!!!!

  • This is soooo beautiful

  • which genre is this ? please don't say celestial, divine or something :P

  • @rocco133 Beauty

  • i don´t know how long i was searching for this song!!!! finally i found it here! where else??? :)))) thank you for uploading it in here!!!

     best wishes from germany!!!

  • @nepuchard I just spent the last 10 mins looking for this song! Shouldnt have taken that long! But it is a beautiful song. Ireland!

  • Music to clear the mind and open the soul...

  • Beautiful.

  • The woman is a songbird. I was in Italy a month ago and when I opened the windows of my hotel room in front of the Piazza De La Republica..this song was playing and the sound surrounded me as I looked out of my balcony. This is how I was greated in Florence....ottimo!!!!

  • This is one of the single most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard, Soaring majestically beautiful piece.

  • This piece of music represents, for me, perfectly parts of Hannibals Character... elegant and noble, yet strange and, for most people, incognizable. But in the end not evil.... but... something else

  • absolutly loved it, anybody knows what happened to the rest of the opera?

  • They also used this in Kingdom of Heaven by Ridley Scott

  • Ta ta...H.

  • Danielle de Niese's voice is tearfully beautiful.

  • this piece of music is stunning, one of the most moving songs i've heard in years

  • Wow, great and appropriate ending.

  • this could be the song of a lifetime.

  • A beautiful song for a horror movie about a psychotic cannibal... xD

  • Terrible, human and romantic movie at the same time.A master play.

  • The most beautiful song I ever heard. One of the few things around that makes me sad.

  • One of the greatest characters in movie history.

  • this really is a beautiful song, and it takes alot for a guy to say that!

  • @fritztheraven2 It should'nt be any great stretch for a man to recognise beauty in a song, movie, play, painting or w.e other subjective piece of art form. Stop worrying about what others think of your tastes and enjoy what speaks to your tastes and sensibilities.

  • @Asfrina

True that is. I'm a man who loves art, music and movie. Its just whee I've lived all my life that people think that is strange. (The Southeast.) Hell, in 9th grade after the Homecoming Dance, both student and teacher alike told me that I reminded them of Dr. Lecter. The only thing that went through my mind was, "Damn, I didn't know I looked like an Oscar winning actor." Some of those assclowns thought I was gay for liking The Phantom of the Opera.

  • @212013114 Unfortunately sir mental midgets are everywhere, Socially conditioned to knock anything perceived by a certain section of the male under educated class to deride men who do show attention and a like for such things. Just surround yourself with more like minded individuals, Easy to do today with how the world is shaping technologically.

  • @Asfrina In my case, its a hundred times easier said than done. In a way it is easier with the technology of today, but it doesn't compare with meeting people in person. Shaking a man's hand or kissing a woman's hand. To really be in the company of individuals, I think is more satisfying as to just reading letters on the screen. Growing up and even now I've been the Black Sheep of where I live. If there are other like me, they're not around where I am. A bit depressing I know. What can I do?

  • lovveeee this movie love soundtrack lovee hannibal ^^

  • It is one of those beautiful pieces of music thatt cannot help but touch your soul and linger there.

  • Im not really normally into this type of music, but i love this peice of music, and it makes me wonder what other gems i may be missing out on

  • I think Red said it best. "I don't know what they were singing about, but I think it was too beautiful that it couldn't be spoken in normal words."

  • @212013114

    I agree with that statement.

  • @eviltreemonster, Thanks.

  • @212013114

Shawshank Redemption is such a good movie. Allthough I kinda felt bad for Brooks.

  • @eviltreemonster

    Who didn't?

  • @212013114

    True.

  • @212013114 but it pissed the warden off something terrible

  • @212013114 hes basically singing i love you so much i must eat ur heart....haha

  • @guynaz928 Yup!

  • @212013114 SPOT ON

  • Chorus: And thinking of her Sweet sleep overcame me I am your master See your heart And of this burning heart Your heart (Chorus: She trembling) Obediently eats. Weeping, I saw him then depart from me. Joy is converted To bitterest tears I am in peace My heart I am in peace See my heart (english meaning to the lyrics)
