@Briannalive I'd say the games are completely dissimilar and comparing them is as pointless as drinking your own spit. They are not close to trying to do the same thing. Borderlands is an RPG, this is not. Borderlands main lore is the countless weapons it has. This has about 10 really focuses weapons. This game has a story, borderlands does not. This game has good AI, borderlands would be uber hard if the AI was any different than it is.

I don't know what's worse, geometry pop-in or texture pop-in? Waiting for the textures to load makes everything seem blurred or soft. I wonder if the 360 holds up any better.

@TheLackofattack Im glad they have stayed to their roots, I'm tired of all these call of duty clones that do nothing but focus on multi-player and leave the campaign absolutely crap. What would constitute moving forward to you? as far as I remember Doom, didn't have vehicle combat, a entire racing circuit, an open world to explore, looting and weapon/vehicle customization is that not moving forward?

@luevanoanthony I dont want to play a mindless shooter where all i do is kill people go back tell them i finished the mission then do it all over again with the next mission. Ive played enough shooter too know that , thats not appealing in any way no matter how amazing the graphics are. There needs to be some kind of depth to a game, Rpg elements help with more depth . i mean damn 2 hours into this game and im already uninterested nothing but shooting a couple of people thats pretty much it.

@milontua the first 2 hours is supposed to be pretty much a tutorial...it's a 15-20 hr game and 30-40 if you count side missions. Give it a chance...

Watching trying to decide if its worth picking up and, uh, im falling asleep here, seems like a really dull game. Like borderlands minus the outlandish style and no "carrot on the stick" with the tons of weapons/leveling. Nice visuals and good, yet by the numbers, shooter gameplay isn't enough. I know you get crazier toys to play and be creative with later bu- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz­... ~_~
