@antenoraaaa most of their ballads are in Epica and The Black Halo, which are two concept albums, the two parts of Goethe's Faust...that's why there is so much death in their ballads, most of them are part of a story where the couple is separated by death.....they've got love songs without death in them (still not very happy songs:P) listen to: can you remember, one day, house on a hill, so long (tha's all i can remember now...)
amazing this song could capture the essence of what it means to experience forbidden love; all of their chance encounters must occur in the depths of the darkness of the night
Listening to music on PC/MP4 & a song ends. Then as soon as I hear this song's 1st "super freakly awesome distorted" note I KNOW I'll be having some 3 minutes & 45 seconds of epicness.
One off their most awesome songs ever, only beaten by Karma, Center of the Univers and Forever. The thing with Kamelot was that they had awesome lyrics mixed with some really good music, something you don't get everywhere today...
Too bad that they lost half the band with Roy (that's just my opinion).
@portoguisen2k They lost half with Roy, and the other half with Poetry for the Poisoned, truly. For me, its not just that Rhoy is gone, but that their sound has changed almost completely
No you're right. He obviously was taught to sing proper. I haven't heard him distort his voice either. He must have been a choir boy. But not bad at all for such a pure voice
I really love this song mostly because we can clearly hear the power of the singer's voice. I think it would be really great if Kamelot would become more popular :s
I love this one! Not just the awesome sound of it, but also the text. I've discovered that Kamelot more or less always sings about death, but the impressive thing is that they make it so beautiful. But in a kinda hard and headbang way though...My favourite is "The haunting" though!
Try center of the universe

I have been noticing that the singer doesnt pronouce his R's is it true or am I hearing it wrong?
pescador1 2 years ago
I'm noticing him properly pronouncing "there" and "more" in the first "And when the lights are down there's no more to say."

the thing with singing about death so often... it may be because there's a story going on in the black halo and epica. mayby... xD
