@antenoraaaa most of their ballads are in Epica and The Black Halo, which are two concept albums, the two parts of Goethe's Faust...that's why there is so much death in their ballads, most of them are part of a story where the couple is separated by death.....they've got love songs without death in them (still not very happy songs:P) listen to: can you remember, one day, house on a hill, so long (tha's all i can remember now...)

One off their most awesome songs ever, only beaten by Karma, Center of the Univers and Forever. The thing with Kamelot was that they had awesome lyrics mixed with some really good music, something you don't get everywhere today...

Too bad that they lost half the band with Roy (that's just my opinion).

No you're right. He obviously was taught to sing proper. I haven't heard him distort his voice either. He must have been a choir boy. But not bad at all for such a pure voice

I love this one! Not just the awesome sound of it, but also the text. I've discovered that Kamelot more or less always sings about death, but the impressive thing is that they make it so beautiful. But in a kinda hard and headbang way though...My favourite is "The haunting" though!
