I have been washing all of my sneakers and some boots for years! Even suede, leather and nubuck ones come out looking teriffic! I used to go to the laundromat for a front-load washer, now I can FINALLY save and use my new Samsung! In-between washing, I keep my suedes and nubucks clean with brushing, and a "secret" compound! People can't believe my 1985 Nikes suedes look like new! Also, DO NOT EVER USE chlorine bleach on your footwear!!! Don't stuff with newspaper(dirty ink)! NO HEAT DRY!

Lazy bastards wasting water! Why don't you get a brush, mix bleach in a bucket and take 5 minutes to lightly brush the dirt out? Washing shoes that you stepped in crap in a washer is gross. Dry them outside lazy bastards.

I do the same thing. lol. However I have gone one step further. I custom paint my old, comfy shoes. This makes them snazzy, eye catching, i call them foot bling and people turn around and notice. I am an artist looking for customers.

if you stuff the shoes full of news paper after washing they will dry even fastey pack em pretty tight and it gets rid on bent parts of the shoes too

Well you really can do anything with a camera, im gonna try this but i have to do it on the new washers so i dont know how im gonna tie my shoes down...

Im not really a camera person =), but i just tossed them in with a mini cord and hooked each shoe down and put in some bleach and liquid detergent, set it on delicate, and put the spin speed on highest, i didn't have to put it in the dryer because of the spin speed. Works like a charm, even the laces! Thanks again x100 Dave!
