for practical use in standard notation the riff is: D, D, F, E, C, D, A, A-flat, G, F...

and in solfege its: Re Re Fa Mi Do Re La La-flat Sol Fa...(repeat x99)

Solfege lol, I haven't heard that in awhile. Is that you Dr. Julien? Can you do the hand symbols as well? Those used to be a nightmare but helped me sing on key more accurately. Sucks when the aural theory professor has perfect pitch.
