They are making Liege Waffles. Check out the many recipes on line. It's basically a midified brioche dough that has sugar crystals in it. Delicious!

@darknessspear123... YESSSSSSSSSS, we do got Belgian stuff in the U.S. & A.!! Whilst we're on the Belgian tip... If ya really wanna get fat, there's a joint called Pomme Frites on 2nd avenue that sells nothing but Belgian fries! But, it's what ya get on top of those fries that make 'em special. They gots a whole lotta different dippin' sauces!! They also have my beloved poutine!! Fat, crispy, made-to-perfection, Belgian fries with gravy and cheese curds! YUUUUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!
