  • this game HIGHLY borrowed from Kung Fu; part of the reason i loved it so much.

  • como se llama la primera cancion?

  • Comment removed

  • Love this game, ive beaten it so many times i can do it all in one life :D

  • Ha. Totally forgot the name of this game. I always remembered the soundtrack, and just saw a video on the PS store, that had clips of this game.

This has got a really weird sound in it I can't find anywhere, I'm pretty sure it's in an old Eminem song.

  • oh nevermind, there's already a ripped soundtrack here: splatterhouse.kontek .net/music.html (just rejoin the url together. y'know how youtube is retarded with urls in comments)

  • If you are interested, I could rip the music of the original arcade version of splatterhouse for you. I've did it before, but I've lost the tracks ever since.

  • Dominou o jogo dos pés a cabeça!!! parabéns Fernando !!!

  • The music sounds very RPGish to me.

  • The one part of the game that i always remember is when your holding the jennifer (After you just beat her) and she disintegrates. Really sad with this music

  • this game reminded me alot of Dragon's Lair, gameplay wise.

  • @evilmidget ...what?

  • @silenig it was mostly timing based, that's why. i think. to be honest, i forgot I even posted that comment in the first place.

  • @evilmidget LOL, this happens in youtube, you post a comment almost a year ago, a guy sees it 4 minutes ago, he replies, and you think "what is he talking about".

It's just that when I saw SH compared to Dragon's Lair, I went "what", but I see your point.

  • Freakyass music no bullshit

  • This game (and Splatterhouse 2) also has elements of House and House 2: The Second Story. Some of the music reminds me of Gyruss and some of it reminds me of Megaman.

    \8-D

  • This game is more or less a simulation of what Jason does in his spare time.

  • What? Save his loved ones from monsters & deamons?

  • @BLARGHALT Not really. Jason just kills everyone the disturbs his grave at Camp Crystal Lake.

  • don`t know why i can`t comment.

i just want to say, that first song is very similar to the song 'Yasashii Kiss o Shite' from some japanese tv-serial. its composer maybe was kinda fan of splatterhouse you know.

  • I just listened to it and it's exactly like it

  • the music is extraordinary, it is so moody and changes a lot. I here a lot of bach in it, crazy scales. I love it.

  • Evil Dead, Dead by Dawn, Poltergeist, The Deadly Spawn. With that recipe, you can't go wrong. But let's not forget you're the Terror Mask's pawn.

  • where can i find music from this game that i can download? 1:26 is awesome as well as the 1st stage boss music 2:40 i think. (i remember playing this on my turbografx 16.

  • yea 2:40 is the best but everyone is good i rem playing this so long ago :P it was eerie then and its still kinda eerie. I'll give a shout out to the level 3 boss Da Chainsaw wtfever it is. lol.

  • 2:42 is mine, but they're all good.

  • did yolu know that 5-60 arcade places had the japan splatter house and i play it.

  • This game is getting remade for the 360 and PS3.

  • best game for the turbo graphics

  • 100% agreed

    and the creepiest

  • The 2:40 is my favorite

  • sounds a bit like a organ

  • You know the music is very nice and peppy despite housing some of the grossest 2-D monstrosities ever in a video game. XD

  • I love the last boss theme

  • your not playin the tg-16 one your playin the pc engine

  • For the people who are to lazy to watch the video on garudoh's channel, heres a site for the soundtrack:

    splatterhouseDOTclassicgamingDOTgamespyDOT com

    Fix it as needed.

    I love this series!

  • awesome music reminds me of ness it is really strange but cool.

  • Ness? Earthbound Ness?

  • yeah the nintendo entertainment super system :p nes i mean.

  • where can i find that song at 5:14

  • yeah i did but i meant where i can download it like a website for cetain songs

  • There's a link to a website with the soundtrack in that video. The site has everything you need to play the tunes, if you want to rip them, then use WinAmp or something like that.

  • okay?

  • i believe its the music when you reach the final boss on stage 7. download a tg16 emulator.

  • where can i find this music for free?

  • I love this game and the music. if I remember correctly this is the music at the end of the game.

  • (until 1:21)

  • Cool game, the music suited it well.

  • Hmm maybe its because its the TG16 version but I remember the music a lot differently. I played the arcade and I think the genesis version and it seemed creepier. I'm also willing to accept that it could be just me.

  • Unless Gamefaqs is mistaken, I don't think the first Splatterhouse ever came out for Genesis. Parts 2 and 3 did, and those did indeed have better music. Being thorough and all that, I'll get to those eventually.

  • how did get 2 the arcade version?
