Well the 74u kills faster at close range because it has the same damage but a faster rate of fire (800rpm).

This is a game, so logic hardly applies. And you obviously don't know the game mechanics. All non-shotguns, including pistols, have perfect accuracy when aiming down the sights.

And yes, it's quite possible to snipe with a pistol. I've done it before. Search 'cod4 pistol sniping'.

Not true about the damage. The AK47 and AK74u do the exact same damage at close range (40). The AK47 does more damage at long range (30).

Both are equally accurate because all non-shotguns have perfect accuracy at all ranges whilst aiming down the sights.
