  • @sehkamp What kind of hedgehog is this? :) He looks so cute! I've wanted one for ages but I don't think my dog would take too well, and I don't want a purpose-bred one, maybe a rescue who can't be re-released into the wild or whatever.

  • OMG i have a cat that looks like that and is named Milo :D <3

  • its like a big fluffe snowball O.o

  • Cats and hedgehogs always seem to have a strange relationship.

The cat doesn't care at all that the hedgehog is so close, it doesn't present an immediate threat and it's an interesting looking thing.

It'll keep touching the spines even when the hedgehog flinches.

The hedgehog is usually a little cautious but never becomes overly defensive.

    Strange strange relationship :3

  • LOL, kitty just can't help himself. They are so adorable! :-)

  • lol the cat is like WTF! its moving :o

  • Cat: Ah a new toy!

    *pets hedgehog*

    Cat: Ouch!

    *looks at human*

Cat: I demand an explanation for this foolishness!

  • cat: The fuck is that?

  • Ahahaha...cute!!

  • :28

    so..I eat it..right?

  • 0:26 he hurt me mommy!

  • Thats one dumb cat haha no offense or anything! usually animals will get the point of the spikes! :p

  • cat thinks: Who put this walking ball of spikes on the floor

  • Milo: Maybe it won't poke me this time. *poke* Yow!....Maybe this time...*poke* YOW!...This time? *poke* YOW!

    Funny stuff, too cute!

  • at first, I thought that hedgehog was some sort of a cleaning sponge.... then i saw it moving!

  • sonic met blaze!!!

    XD

  • Sonic and blaze,Hurr durr. :3

  • haha your cat made me laugh... :D Milo and Niko are cute :) i thought Niko was a ball for a second haha

  • SONIC VS BIG

  • The cat is like:

    "He's so violent!"

    *Poke

    "See? He's Violent!"

  • You're really stressing your hedgehog out by doing that. Please don't.

  • at 0:21

    Cat:*pets hedgehog

    *2 seconds later...

    Cat: Ow

  • Kick out the cat

  • the thumbnail makes it look like the cat is vomiting...

  • sonic vs blaze

  • Milo : Niko lets go bowling.

    Niko : some other time.

  • 0:26 the cats look up at you like: This bitch serious?

  • Either the cat is small, or hedgies are bigger than I thought!

  • @lmbarak The cat is smaller sized cat than normal. The hedgehog was a handful when I got him, and now that he's an adult he's two handfuls (cup your hands together, and that's how big of a ball he makes).

  • @sehkamp Awww, they're both super cute. Thank you for sharing! :-)

  • @sehkamp but i've got small hands...

  • @Finnn046 It's not the size that counts;)

  • everyone who wants a hedgehog they sell them at breeders or rescuers and if u are commited and ready to buy one ,so just check for your state breeders in your area

  • where do u get a hedge hog?

  • @Vindonesian Most pet stores sell them, you have a better chance of finding them in the warmer months though.

  • Poor hedgehog.

  • Do they smell bad?

  • the hedge hog looks like a ball of carpet

  • OOOOH WUT IS THAT OOOH WUTS THAT : Whats in here? :3

  • Milo: This new food kinda sucks...

  • First i tought: Oh Fuck .. Cat get away before you will get killed then i tought: ah fuck it just do it

  • your cats like "what kind of toy is THIS?! D:"

  • Looks like a sponge

  • youre an asshole

  • Kitteh iz confuzed¿

  • Niko Bellic?

  • The cat's like "The fuuuuuck? o.O"

  • Cat: "I think it's dead."

  • I was kinda hoping the cat would start sticking leaves to the hedgehog, but I guess that only happens in cartoons.

  • YELLOW CAR!!!

  • Don't worry about the hedgehog, guys, inevitably the cat will end up having to avoid the little guy once he realizes how difficult it is to actually touch the thing.

And hedgehogs have little trouble adapting to being around household pets, so long as the owners are keeping an eye out just in case things get a little too tense.

  • Poor hedgehog, ;_; you're so mena to him, hedgehog are wild animals no domestic, damn it

  • Milo; -pawprod. Niko; Prick your paw. HUAAHAA..

  • Kitty: Wtf is that thing? Hedgehog: O.O......-hides in self-

  • The hedgehog is scared but isn't freaking out. He isn't in a ball which he would be if he felt truely threatened. The cat and hedghog were meeting for the first time so of course the hedgehog would be on guard.

  • That cat's like "so... how am I supposed to eat this thing?"

  • has the hedge hog ever hurt the cat ? I just adopted a hedgehog and my cat is determined to check him out but i'm worried.

  • @velvetkytten neither the hedgehog nor the cat have hurt each other. My cat is always curious when the hedgehog is out, but generally goes for a higher ledge to avoid getting walked into by the hedgehog. Regardless, I don't leave the hedgehog out without supervision (this includes before I got my cat).

  • @sehkamp I agree. Hedgies can obviously take care of themselves, and the cat's reflexes are quick enough that once the quills go up it'll back off, just like the video shows. Our cats are FASCINATED by our hedgies, but as long as everyone's supervised you shouldn't have any problems, and may even get a few laughs out of it.

  • @velvetkytten the hedgehog will straighten its spikes and will gently nudge whatever comes to pet it. The tips have no barbs and the material in which the spikes are is basically fingernail, only sharpened. It is nonpoisonous and I have not heard of any fatalities due to handing a hedgehog.

    have fun =P

  • 0:32 one last poke :P

  • The cat's face at the end was like: "Hmmm, I dun get dis thing...."

  • hes like. the fuck is this shit? lol

  • @DrPoon Shut up hippy bitch. If you don't like it then don't watch it.

  • The hedgehog is scared to death. I would love to see what you would do if someone let a lion claw at you.

  • @DrPoon the owner probably didnt realize it was scared....and Milo and Niko had to meet eventually wtf do you expect? by now they are probably buddies

  • @DrPoon My friends hedge hog did the same thing to me when I first picked it up. He just didn't know. Go away ignorant.

  • @bbyfx3

Because he was scared of you. Anybody would be.

  • I love how cats are so nosy ,, lol

  • tht cats like WTF?!?!?!?!?!

  • Awwww this is cute, i give you thumbs up!

  • quiet, trolls. This is obviously a well-supervised introduction. You can tell by the human's shadow that they were close enough to separate the two should things start getting nasty. Cat is being curious, not aggressive. Not too sure on hedgie behavior but Milo's ear remain forward and he lies down while very gently pawing. This says he is curious about what's under the spikes, but he isnt trying to hurt the mysterious moving thing.

  • cat's just like,"the hell is this?"

  • Milo:* It looks like a toy... IT MOVES...Let me touch it again..*

    Niko: GET AWAY D":!

  • fuck you for scaring the hedgehog milo!!!

  • @lordkyle10 No other way to get them familiar with each other, than to let them interact.

It's stressful for the hedgehog, but as you can see from the description, as soon as Miko was used to the cat, he had no problem being pushy and scaring the shit out of the cat, who can do nothing but run away from the spiky-coated huffy ball that comes barreling at him at any given time.

So really, I feel more sorry for the cat. :P

  • Weird, my hedgehog and my cat get on fine, they don't bother each other at all.

  • When hedgehog's are like that, that means they're scared.

  • @SuperAlbinoPenguin at times yes it is also a self defence mecanizum

  • @SuperAlbinoPenguin

I know what yyour saying but read the desc.

  • @SuperAlbinoPenguin no hes mad nod scared he'd be in a ball if he was

  • shes not making the cat pet it on purpose u ideot, the cat is playing and the hedohog needs to know the cat is there or it will never get used to it...

    some people i dnno =/

  • I loved the part when the cat touching the hedgehog.

  • Your stressing out your hedgehog by doing that.

  • @riverajm2 i agree with you, this person should put their cat in another room. some hedgehogs can die from being over stressed.

  • @enilorac8181 Yeah, if it's ongoing. Introducing household pets to one another for the first time is not an ongoing situation. :P
