@toymaker941 fyi and do what you may but if your not scared of a little harder ride you can just crank the torsion keys that are factory in it and pay 35 bucks for the lifting blocks at like autozone or advance auto. alot of ppl say it puts more stress on your torsion bar but its not true. by turning the key you turn the torsion bar which inturn turns your lower control arm thus no added stress. it just doesnt hit the dampener so it rides rough.

@toymaker941 ive had my 150 this way for 3 years and done nothing else. so long as you dont go over 2.5 inches with the factory keys your fine. now it you get the keys to lift up to 3 inches and go all 3 inches you can no longer align properly either. what i did was like i said cranked the factory torsion keys and a lifting block and put 315 70 17 which is basically a 35. the factory tire is 31 so i have a 4 inch lift with the 2 inch lift and tires

97-98 ford f250's were light duty and looked just like the 150's. F350 kept the old body style that year and then the super duty's came out in 98.

This style F250 w/ 150 body has the 7 lug axles. This model, for the most part, is still made. It was called F150 7700 for a while and you can still buy a F150 with the heavier duty axles.

If motors were that weak they would blow up on the dyno. there is plenty of back pressure created by the exhaust pipes themselves, too much backpressure and you get old exhaust re entering the combustion chamber which robs performance. My Camaro is running longtube headers, into a 3 inch Y pipe, and no muffler. Yet it is barely louder than most 4.6 Mustangs that run O/R X pipes and SLP Loudmouth 1's.

I know from hearing 5.4's in person, there aren't many louder engines out there. Some are so loud to the point that it will hurt your ears, literally.

Yeah it always snaps to a certain extent, but more when its cold. Its pretty much cold in this vid. Ive never heard it from the outside but my buddies tell me it does it all the time. Uh the cats are Heartthrob Exhaust brand I believe, pretty reasonable like 55 apiece I paid. And the tips are 24x3's. I'm waiting for em to rust out then I'll go with 12x3's at a 90*. Well the sound im going for is what these trucks sound like with the 4 stock converters still on them cold with the crackle. Im wanting to make em have that sound all the time even after they have warmed up. If that make's sense I dont really know how to word it.

Im not real sure thats possible lol i have 6 buddies all trying to get it to snap all the time with these trucks and its nearly impossible. 1 buddy with a 4.6 and the same cats I have and 2" pipe does it, but its crazy loud. With 4 cats its impossible to even make em loud much less crackle hehe. With a 5.4 anyway

My plan is to either cut the back 2 off and leave the front 2 on and run true dual straights or cut all 4 off and put in 2 high flows. The way the truck sounds now with 4 stock cats and true duals cold is what I want it to sound like all the time with just 2 cats.

Uh well a buddy of mine has the stock 2 fronts and cut out the big gay rears with a 2.25" x-pipe and it's not overly loud but does sound real nice when he gets on it a bit.. I think a pair of hi flows with some 18" glasspacks would sound pretty damn good also but I havent heard em on a 5.4. The buddy with the 4.6 had some 18"ers on and it sounded pretty nice just a little too quiet for me. If it doenst make my ears bleed, I'm not satisfied lol. Check my stang vid

Uh.... Brand? Lol I had a buddy that did exhaust for a living, he bent it up for me so I guess you could say its all custom? The cats are Hi flows from Heartthrob Exhaust but the rest is just 2 1/4" pipe. No fancy x or y pipes, just true dual
