i have a vacation home in Tucson and go there every Christmas, i only wish that this would happen when i was there. oh well, ill be in Tucson in a few days, so excited =D
or Create a video response Thanks to all for the kind words! @r7stuart These were 20 second exposures. I did perform some batch processing on the files in Photoshop to brighten some things (as well as register them and other simple adjustments). Check out my Caelum Observatory website (just google it) and look in the nature section of the Mount Lemmon picture gallery to see a combined result.
I remember growing up in Southern Arizona, we used to bring our chairs out side and sit for hours just to watch the "electrical storms" as my mother used to call them. Imagination cannot come up with what God can create!
Absolutely incredible that you captured this, from that vantage point, for that long, and make it into a gorgeous video! I love the slow motion and music!
Mesmerizing. What a display of nature's awesome power and wonder. Thanks for capturing these eerie impressions and putting them to music. Simply takes my breath away.
This is one of the better weather related videos I have seen. You have some serious talent.

Sweet. I've watched lightning from Mt. Lemmon many times. I was born in Tucson. Nothing like it.
