Hey man been there with my ht 350 gts iv owned for 25 years now,just had a refresh done 11 years ago drove it out on oxley rd pulled up to get fuel and a tanker backed right through the guts of it.....i had a spare body and enough parts to get it mobile again but the heart wasnt....she sat for 5 years before a full resto

it's not impossible...Eric himself says that the car is repairable....look at Top Gear season 14 episode 1 here on youtube where Eric does the drive around the Top Gear track and he spoke to Jeremy Clarkson about the car...among Bathurst and other things!

I guess it comes down to what you know, to me it looks bad, but i guess a car is only a write off when the cost outwiehgs the value, my mate is a panel beater and he himself says nothing is a write off. well almost nothing

To me it doesn't look TOO bad but then again< I don't know the damage that you don't see. Eric himself said that if the car had to be reshelled then he would've left it but as he said, the car is repairable so that's the main thing.

@kevkoala If you see the movie there is alot of chassis damage on the front end. I hated he crashed because I saw how much he loved this car. I think that he is a pretty genuine person.

rofl dude the thing needs more than that done the whole front end will be bent from the impact.. who knows it would have probably struck the motor aswell. From what i can see it looks like its bent the whole rail.

092499454, if you watch the movie 'Love The Beast' he explains what damage it got and every thing got wreacked even the back part of the car, then it sat in a gerage for like 6 months or years (not sure) then it took him and his mates like 3 years to fix it....
