Some people only bought next gen consoles for GTA, at the time of this announcement there wasn't really too many reasons to buy a next gen console. If they did not sell the game to Xbox they would never have enough money to even develop the game further. All consoles and games move together, there's no logic in one leaving one behind. LA Noire used a special technology that fully captured the facial movements and expressions of people.

And considering there was over 400 actors, that is why the game was so big. The game could barely fit on a bluray disc.

GTA V wont use that, simply because Rockstar doesnt own that piece of Tech. Team Bondi does. So kthx

You can make an exclusive available on other systems but not the other way around. People will complain, there's contracts that bind games with platforms. GTA has been on Microsoft since the first game in 97. It will not be an exclusive on the PS3 unless Microsoft breaks out of their contract with Rockstar games which I doubt will happen.

Correction : Microsoft paid big money for it to be a MICROSOFT exclusive. And Microsoft owns Games For Windows Live. It is coming to the PC. Rockstar made an update that adds the Lost and Damned achievements to the PC version. Explain that.
