He's actually right about backing the pickups. I've done with mine and used Goya olive oil, roughly 13 ounces but must be a medium low flame cooked for 38 minutes and sun-dried for 28 weeks. That is how you get brown...trust me. Nice Job Vanzant, you nailed too. Check out my tones, same process

Get yourself some 6gauge silver-plated copperwire. I've gound the "Goya" extra virgin olive oil works the best.

Its was a gift from a friend .(mapel neck,gototh/schaller tuners,schwinn bicycle acrylic lacquer,Gibson PAF out of an old ES-335 dipped in paraffin wax.and 1971 quater wedged under bridge to stabilize the tremolo )Thanx
