@TranceMatzl15 They play to what ever crowd is out there. Happy hardcore and rave come out just before DnB Jungle and they were both more main stream. Jungle on the other hand was more underground because if the lyrics. Twice in the late 90's I went to see people like Micky Finn, Rap, Hype etc and in every arena they were playing hardcore. When you heard Jungle in another arena and moved to it the journey would take 2 hours and by the time you got there they were playing hardcore.
@TranceMatzl15 An they played the hardcore because the got paid more as they were promoting music that was on disc. With jungle most of the music was being recorded as you watched the do. At the gigs many teens turned up making me feel old and they are the ones that buy the tracks. Most DnB lovers could get pirated tapes straight after the gig. I have a few lol
I experienced her live on stage 10 days ago on Splash! Festival. Believe me when I say that the overfilled warehouse she played in was trembling from the massive bass and all the people dancing. She is excellent!
bless her, must be bloomin hard work on that hugeeee mixer ,, its like mixing with a microwave.... was this filmed in 1984 or sumet.. some nice beats but thats club needs to sort the mixer out...
I'm sorry I'm a cage dancer from back in 1991 and if she had made me dance to this for 20 minutes I would not only got her fired but died of bordem....wake up
An Introduction doesn't start banging hard, thats just stupid. Don't judgde a 1-2h set by listening to the first 4 minutes. Where did you cage dance? In a zoo?
The track is one of my absolute fave DnB tracks. Back in 1996 - 1997, this track stormed the DnB charts for well over 11 weeks. There are quite a few versions of it, I have quite a few of them. But alot of DJ's like to mix in their own-made samples into it, and some of those make the "final cut". The beat in this one is completely different to the original. Its alot slower paced.
I am not sure if I wrote to you and told you the tune is by, Doc Scot and called "shadow boxing". The origional has a sample of some guy say the words,"Shadow Boxing"
