its hard to find vid tutes on these niche subjects so thank you for covering this- real time render has a sketchy charm about it (no need for subsurfs) but won't animate anything unless you put it in as actions- even yo frankie vid passed over this

You can instead use a single logi brick with "action" instead of armature.
