  • i'd rather be a pen than a sword........what a great line

  • 4 months ago was the last comment? really? Love this song.

  • Aesop is basically saying that he cares more for himself than those around him trying to survive. But another way to see this line is that he believes everyone has the power to stand up and survive, and he's not going to hinder others by helping them when they should help themselves...

  • i think i can i think i can i think i can i think i will

  • that horace beat makes my ears cum FADAYS!!!!

  • wattage is his stare

  • @mitch317 A for effort

  • @MyDormantSoul wattage IN his stare

  • Man where is this sample from? It's sick as hell

  • @vietdumbass horace andy you are my angel i put it as a video reply.

  • I interviewed the sun, he said the future's lookin' bright

I interviewed the rain, he claimed the sun's truly an asshole

I's supposed to interview the snow today but of course he flaked

So I let my frigid demeanor teeter and take his vacant place...

FUCK WHAT THEY AESOP RIZZLE IS THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE....WITH NOT EVEN AN OUNCE OF DOUBT!!!!!!

  • RJD2 has some pretty sick beats, but they get too repetitive. It's kinda like listening to All Day by Aesop. You can't finish it.

  • The Green Room

  • The Purple Room.

  • I love Aesop, and I especially love this song because for some reason the beat reminds me of RJD2 if you know who im talking about your the shit :-)

  • @DCurt2287 Yeah, I agree. RJD2 is white too, that's funny how they just take over the hip-hop game and make it what it should be today.

  • MF DOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DCurt2287 honestly i dont like alot of rjd2's shit but... who cares? too many people think THEIR playlist is THE playlist. lol

  • @mhterrorist haha man i agree, everyone has their own group of artists they listen to and think everyone else should enjoy. sometimes thats just not the case though :-)

  • @DCurt2287 yeah its like.. it's cool to give people new music if they are INTERESTED but, by cramming shit down their throat you could ruin a potential fan. I make music and i dont even try to feed it to people even to literally feed myself

  • @mhterrorist well, i gotta add though there is a difference between promoting and spamming. I do send my music to people and ask them to listen but im talking about like.. autoplay widgets or shit like that. You have to learn how to promote and socialize with your material without being too pushy. I've done that and it don't help get people to appreciate it.

  • aesop is a lyrical genius

  • The only Aesop track that sons this is Daylight... and it's a light sonning at that.

  • I say they son each other equally. Like Scorpion & Sub-Zero

  • what the hell does "SON" mean

  • You see my mission's responsibilities range across the board//

Until I'd rather be a pen than a sword

  • I interviewed the sun,he said the futures looking bright.I interviewed the rain,he claimed the suns truly an asshole!

  • I was supposed to interview the snow today but of course HE FLAKED.

  • @caridepp27 So I let my frigid demeanor teeter and take his vacant place! GOD DAMN!!!!

  • Woah, aesop even sings a part in it!

    sounds wicked sick!

    Reggae fits to him.

  • This is a horace andy tune i just don't know which one :P

  • The tune is "you are my angel" good spot man thanks for the comment

  • yea seriously. i like hearin the originals haha

  • Its got a reggae feel to it. aes rocks

  • Its a bass line from a reggae song thats why

  • yea this is one of my favs from him. this and the mayor and the crook. and of course, daylight
