This is actually those sides of Murang'a. Trust me, this is a lot better than it had been for a long time. The problem is corruption; a company gets a contract to fix roads and they pocket half of the money and use the cheapest material they can find. The the corrupt gava does not hold them accountable since they also got to pocket some of that money. Shameless!
Last time i was there, (2004) roads were being fixed, and there were fewer potholes. This is shocking. Truth of the matter, some areas are still neglected and others deteriorate at a super high rate.
