Great vid and commentary! I just ordered the Smooth Operator. If you don't mind me saying that you kept saying that you don't like your skin and I totally understand because I can't stand mine. However, your drop dead gorgeous and honestly your skin looks absolutely perfect just like the rest of you. You look like an angel...Truly! Ulta has it, I just got into HEALTHY Makeup after a cosmetic breakout (MAC) My search led me to minerals, tarte, estee lauder, and some other brands. (coverFX, Loreal Tru Match, Korres) And I have tried them all! I luv the TARTE! Its so hydrating! Covers good too. I am a FOUNDATION Junkie too! I soo wana order the new Tarte Amazon clay FULL coverage via QVC! But I have soo many foundations I love, like the re-create its GREAT. Never again will I put that MAC CRAP ON!

I have two questions, 1) which tarte foundation which you recommend more: the smooth operator or the recreate (for someone with combo skin and blemishes) 2) what type of brushes do you use with each?

oh and you should DEF check out their check stains. i just got the "ring it in" set for xmas and they're lovley =]

@piinkislovexo I would recommend the tarte recreate for someone with blemishes (like myself) - its more coverage than the smooth operator. I use that one when my face is cleared up. I use the sephora platinum airbrush brush with both!

Jen, Thanks so much for this great video. I absolutely love Tarte cosmetics. I have tons of their shadows and love them all. Lights, Camera, Lashes and Lights, Camera, Splashes ~ the mascara and the waterproof mascara are both wonderful. The Indelible Wink liquid eyeliner is great, too. My very favorite is Lifted which is the eyelid primer which decreases the appearance of fine lines! I am anxious to try your new clay products! Off to Sephora I go! Kisses~~Karen

Now this was an awesome review...I don't get easily transported when utubers shows products. I have had my HG's for years, and yes I do venture out, like when you showed the shadows from Blu Line cosmetics, they are gorgeous. But you are really getting me thinking about Tarte now. No worries here, my only fav from MAC are the MSF's and that is about it, everything else breaks me out horribly.

While I agree that Tarte cosmetics are good quality, their customer service is AWFUL! I emailed the company to complain about horrible packing in the holiday palette. The drawers in the palette fell open and flew across the room, breaking the blushes in a million pieces. I got an email back that basically said "Too bad". Never again will I waste my hard earned money on this brand. There are too many compnanies who really care about their customers.

I love love love the lights camera splashes. It's the waterproof mascara. It lasts all day and I have very watery eyes and it comes off easily with eye makeup remover. I have never repurchased a mascara but I am this one!

I love Tarte too! I don't consider them to be all natural since they still use ingredients such as propylene gycol, dimethicone etc. However, they have great products that are kind of a happy medium between natural and conventional cosmetics. I just wish they were not so expensive! Lol, at Petee....you must have given him caffeine -laced Scooby snacks!

I love QVC and ordered the smooth operator powder with brush. It is great. I got an extra container from Coastal Scents and put some in there so I can carry it with me and keep one at home. It is good to know the other products are just as good. I was interested in everything of course, but the 10th anniversary shadow collection was very tempting. Thanks for sharing.

Love the TARTE shadows and afer this review I'm going to check out the foundation. Checked QVC and you really did get a great deal on the foundation/concealer combo. The foundation/brush alone are 36.00 and concealer/brush are 32.00.
