I kind of agree, it kinda seems like this could have been done by almost anyone with a brain and an ear for music, but (and i say this with great interest and optimism) what are some of Chris Vrenna's good works? I'm frankly quite too lazy to sift through all the crap (if this song is an example of that than I do apologize) of any artist that I'm not all that familiar with, so if you could please, reply with some names of songs that i should look for.

what i personally love him for is the score he did for the 'American Mcgee's Alice' videogame since it's very original and yeah.. sounds like he did put lots of effort in it. it features lots of well arranged sounds and samples and also includes the voice of jessicka fodera in a way you don't hear her elsewhere. you can find most of the songs tracks on youtube, but it's also available on cd or - with a bit of variation - in the game's files in case you own it

so that for instance makes a strong contrast to this remix. you should also have a look for his tweaker project, which can also be found on youtube to an extend. i especially like songs such as 'movement of fear' 'cauterized' or 'it's still happening' for these feature what vrenna is really good at - synthesizers and electronic arrangement. i'm not too much into his remixes - which he does lots of - anyway.. though of the ones i've heard this is a rather weak one imo as said..
