In the Street Fighter Alpha collection on PS2, you can screw with the character's color palettes as well as change some of the in-game mechanics. I never do that cause I heard if you change the character's default palette, it's permadent and it's effects all the games he/she are in (for example, black sakura will be black in SFA2, SFA2G and Pocket Fighter if he edit her original color).

You mean like the actual arcade machine? Most likely not. If you happen to have the machine or perhaps a ROM, look in the debug/service/config/test menus.

Go to any game and go into Options. Highlight "Display Adjust" and hold R1 and then press X. Now you can change the default color for all the chars in that game.

Sometimes, changes you make to a char in one game may carry over to that same char in another game.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology (PS2) lets you edit the colors of the chars. If you have the game, I'll tell you how.

I like sakura's style, she is skill, but karin just gets on my nerves, I like beating her up. By the way, which version of sfa3 is this? I use the original arcade version running off of MAME (multiple arcade machine emulator), but the arcade version doesn't have dramatic battle...

This is Alpha 3 Arranged from SF Alpha Anathology on the PS2. Arranged fixes the cheap infinite combos and glitches. You also get the PS1-only chars like Fei-Long and Deejay.

Aaaah, but is it still possible to do the dramatic battle touch of death combo? Both players get either side of the opponent and whack light punch like mad, they can't do anything... try it!

Yes, that still works. (but good luck getting your AI partner to join you) But it doesn't do much damage. Its only usefulness is to get your opponent dizzy.
