actually that is a female taranchula, SHE is going to bite you, male taranchulas cant be sold as pets because they die in a few months if they dont mate and their abdomin is much thinner...just thought that i would throw that out there

I used to own 3 tarantulas. I don't get why people are SO afraid of spiders. I can kinda understand being nervous around poisonous spiders, but other than that, who cares?

tarantula's are not aggresive at all as long as u let then go were they want and not put your hand in front of them they wont bite you. i have 2 i've been bitten once (first day i had it) hurt like a mother fucker

Yeah they're fun pets... and yes it can bite... but unless you smell or look like a cricket, you got nothing to worry about...

@19meho95 No, you cannot drain a spider of poison nor can you defang it. All Tarantulas are venomous, HOWEVER a chilean rose like the one in the video has venom about as potent as a bee or wasp sting so....not very potent at all unless you're allergic. They rarely bite to begin with however.

@noekiyu Yes, they have rather large fangs. All tarantulas are venomous, yet they will not kill you. Mine has never bit, and as long as you treat them with respect you should be ok.
