Funnily enough "realworld" did 14 years nothing more x than an x hehehe.... :) But I would have to concur with you on those points. In my 40 years (did tactical and trained professionally)I haven't have the problems that MstyO has in fairness you have to ask why is Msty0 always finding himself in these situations...... If you are reasonable prudent person ask yourself how often it happens to you??? Oh you can us reasonable force to protect yourself but not excessive big difference!

a reasonable person knows and expects that if someone tries to kick their door in and the occupant bashes the person at their door, they should expect (as a reasonable person would) that the Police would look at the use of force made by the occupant and consider if it was 'reasonable' in the circumstances. (to mysty0) a reasonabel person would expect someone who shows attitude towards Police that the Police woudl take some action against them. Why do reasonable people think this way, because reasonable people abhore anarchy, If a meth user turns up trying to kick there door in, they ring the police, they don't try and harm or even take on the person with their bare hands or a weapon, because reasonable know that the Police are there for their protection...

PART 3 (LAST BIT) FROM AN OFFICER. face people who dont understand what you do and get abuse you because of their ignorance. Lastly until you have the ability, courage, maturity and willingness to make the self sacrifice required to become a Police officer you should think harder before you criticise what we do, after all. You all still call triple 0 when it goes to hell, and when there are screams and explosions and you are all running away we are the only ones running in.

we all call triple because if we choose to defend ourselves we end up the subjects of police interests..., less than a year ago my front door was kicked in by a complete stranger on meth looking for his Mrs and I held him off at the door. My Mrs then called police and I was informed if I harmed him in any manner would be arrested. Enlighten me as to how this works, as it was I spent weeks stressed because cops were looking at charging me for simply rushing him back outside of my house.

I am a large enough fella with formal fight training and it seems although I have never had an assault charge successfully stick to me they keep trying.., I do not use my art to look for trouble and in fact do everything to avoid it but people with proven histories of violence may assault me and when I successfully defend myself it is me who spends 6 months in and out of court proving my innocence while the person who initiated physical contact for no purpose walks scott free.

Yeah I call triple 0 or have my mrs do it so that I am not the one who spends a year or 2 in prison and misses my children growing up. because it seems no matter what I do I am the fuck in the wrong..., I was at coles once shopping with my family and some fuck took a cheap shot at me which I ignored, however the checkout lady called the police and insisted I pressed charges. So I waited and when the police arrived determined to arrest someone it was me who got arrested before they even questioned the matter, was pepper sprayed and beaten down before I could even say "hi" and you wonder why I have an attitude towards pigs

I take what you say that Police take some time to arrive when called, yes we are under staffed. But you do show me something about yourself.
