  • @Aubreykianna I have heard it called a lot of things but never a time warp! :)

  • Can u tell me why it's important that u have to use a steele crochet.

  • @mrsthursday I am using thread which is really small, so the steel hook fits the thread. I have tried to crochet thread with the larger crochet hooks. The results were pretty bad. It is finding a hook that fits the size of the product you are using.

  • This does not even remotely resemble a pansy as far as I can see, but it's a cute little flower nonetheless, and the instructions were easy to follow.

  • Great flower... can't wait to make some!!!

  • Thanks for the good posts. I had better luck starting w/ a magic circle instead of 7 chains. Looks more like yours turns out.

  • Thank you. It is nice to have two options available with the chain or the magic circle.

  • WOW--I thought this looked hard & confusing but, after a couple of tries I got it! It came out just beautiful--mine was in purples! :-)

    Thanks again Teresa!

  • Lindas as flores, mas por favor poderia me enviar o gráfico destes trabalhos.

  • I can see it better when you makeyour tutorial with yarn. For some reason its easier for me to follow, I know its the same but There are parts that I just cant follow when you use thread. Can you do one using yarn? Pretty pleaaaaase?

  • CAN U DO A TOTURIAL ON HOW TO DO THAT

  • A larger hook and yarn will be the same as a smaller hook and yarn.

  • hey, but this is the tutorial :D

  • its a reply to bollywood

  • can u do this wit bigger yarn a a size 8.5 hook

  • Yes, you will have a huge flower if that is what you are looking for.

  • Teresa,

Pansies are one of my favorite flowers! I can't wait to make some of thease, they are so pretty. I will be trying to crochet using thread, for the first time. I hope they come out good enough to share. Thanks again for another AWESOME VIDEO! Doglvngurl in NOLA

  • You are welcome. I would love to see your work when you are finished.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Teresa thanks for these sweet little flowers, I shall make some to go on my hat I just finished! I love your work and the videos. :)

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Very Nice Teresa thanks for the vids :)

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Theresa, these look fantastic!! I know the smaller thread/needle is probably more aesthetically pleasing .. but would this work pretty well with, say, medium weight worsted yarn and a J hook? That's what I've been primarily using .. would I change anything to the pattern?

  • Thank you. You can interchange the thread and yarn with the flower patterns. The only difference is that the flower will be larger with the yarn and aluminum hook.

  • I love this video but i myself shy away from this kind of thing for fear of crocheting to tight and not being able to see the stitches. Hopefully one day ill get over that fear. Great job!! Can u tell me what kind of yarn was used?

  • I used size 10 thread. I would suggest practicing with a simple circle and becoming familiar with the feel of thread. Thread is my favorite to work with.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you for doing this for me! You're wonderful and they're beautiful! :)

  • You are welcome. I am happy you like the flower.

  • thank you for the video. Those look great. I will have to try them.

  • You are welcome. :)

  • Pansies were my great-grandmother's favorite flower! She embroidered and crocheted them all the time. I can't wait to make some :) By the way, could I use a magic circle for this or is it best to use the chains?

  • You can use a magic circle instead of the chain.

  • thank you so much for this vid. these are so awsome. I can't wait to make heaps of stuff with them :D

  • Thank you. :)
