  • your video's are great i enjoyed watching them !! Thanks and good luck!!!

  • @steinderbush thank you

  • Cool video as always. Great shots of something that's rarely seen with the eye in nature. Kudos too ya bud.

  • @wagouche Thanks. Im happy to share. Dan

  • oh my gosh you should have had a warning up SPIDER in film, im not a fan of Iktomi at all,

aww that was so worth it to see the mountain lion and what was the animal with spotted legs they were so cute just loved seeing them and the wee skunk that passed by. wonderful footage and pictures, you dont get animals like that here only fox but thats in country and badgers and iv never seen any of em,

  • @helen1434 oh, did that startle you?... heh, heh :) The spotted legged thing was a bobcat. Absolutely beautiful cats! They sure are hard on the chickens though! The skunk is a smaller kind we have called a spotted skunk or a civit cat. They are just as smelly!

I have sure enjoyed watching and learning about the mountain lion. What a magnificiant creature!!! I am thankful to be able to share the experience with you. Dan

  • @gotrocksinhead a bobcat i did wonder with the pointed ears i guess they would go after chickens but they have to live on sumthing, mountain lion was a wonderful sight to see its amazing the way they all prowl about at night even smelly skunk they must have good night vision, it must be bit dangerouse at night if you were up in the hills yourself, i think in our hills at night youd see a deer or big stag, i once saw a frog at night lol not same as lion though

  • Great vids of the cat / what music did you use for the vid ( i got really mellow with it LOL) - working nites and watching this vid and the flute music in the am bout put me away in my chair LOL

  • @ernest302 Thats what the lion does.. he lulls you to sleep before he EATS YOU! :) The music is called Healing Wind, Ohwihsha by Jonathan Maracle. Very good music! Thanks Dan

  • dam, you have get lots of nice Cougar pic and videos, do you have some new spot you plan to use for the cam ?

  • @hobbexp Yeah, I'd like to place them up the creek at the pirate ship survival place. There is some real heavy animal trails up there. I'll still go up to cave now and then to see if he comes back around.

  • Whoa, awesome! Thanks for sharing :)

  • @1PumpkinLady Thank you for watching. It is a joy to share. Dan

  • so sad to see the camera have to be moved from the famous cougar ridge.. hopefully you will find a better spot

  • @thewildview Yeah it's pretty disappointing. I'll still go back from time to time and see if he starts coming around again more often. If he does, I'll stick the camera back up there. I might stick it up at the pirate ship up the creek along a good animal trail.

  • Killer footage man, thanks for postin' up. Sorry to hear the cat isn't comin' around as much, I bet you'll find a new location though. Good luck out there!

  • @touchnova He can run but he cant hide! heh heh. We'll try to find another good spot. Thanks for watching. Dan

  • Outstanding shots! Beautiful cat.

  • @inquisitivewolf thank you. He is indeed beautiful and awe inspiring!

  • Thanks so much for sharing all your great trail cam pics with us and I hope to see some from your new area soon. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos.....Tom

  • @1620416204 Thank you for watching. I sure enjoy sharing them with you all. There shall be more to come! dan

  • Sorry Dan I probably missed & am to lazy to look but what type of trail cam are you using? It takes very good night video. I am thinking of getting a few, man the pics I could get here! I am though a bit afraid of thieves as we don't have throw away money.

  • Off to have babies?..or just on her seasonal round, I like the bobcat at 4:05 as well as the skunk

  • @LivingHistorySchool They are all very interesting... EXCEPT THE RATS!!! :) I have a theory on why he is there less now. The cave is less than a mile from my house. Males cougars are very terratorial. With the young one I killed at my house gone, the big one at the cave now has a larger terratory to roam without a threat. Therefore He would spend more time out and about and less just at the cave ..... just an thought.

    Dan

  • Hi Dan my friend, very cool to see all the great moments again. Hope you find another place for your cool camera. Happy Weekend Sepp

  • @Waldhandwerk Yes Sepp you have been here all along. For that I thank you. We will find more places and more wildlife to spy on. Thank you. Dan

  • great video , hi have to come tor termes with mine...LOL

    regards

    sercout

  • @sercout Thank you sercout. :)

  • awesome Video, thx for sharing.

  • @dogi4444 Thank you for watching. Dan

  • You got some awesome scenes of the cougar there. Really amazing animal.

What type of camera equipment was that? It's not self-made or is it?

Thanks very much for sharing this extraordinary experience, Tim

  • @steintanz Tim, I am going to make a video showing my trail camera. I did buy it. The scenes are not far from our house. I know he is still there, just he is not using the cave anymore. Bummer. We will find him! He's out there....... somewhere... watching..... as am I :)

  • @gotrocksinhead "Yeah right - better watch it ... I think I glimpsed him over your shoulder... panther-like creature, all pink it was."

I hope you'll get him on film again - would be really great to watch such an elegant animal.
