I tried this mod and fucked up my MGB's screen... I haven't determined yet if it can be salvaged. Basically I over-stressed the ribbon cables at the points where the layers come together. Screen works if I press the layers together but I don't know if I can make it work reliably again...

@jillpoo3 Thanks once again bro! I love this MOD. I think it's the most satisfying one I've done so far. It's quite easy to do actually! Just follow bibin's instruction! I ordered 2 more DSLite lcds (about 9bux each shipped) from HK and hope to make my next one more perfect w/o the 4 hotspots above the screen =)
Wow awesome work dude! i attempted this with an original ds i had for parts but when i took it apart i couldnt work out how to use it as a backlight,you just get a sheet with no wires or contacts attached o_O so after that i attempted a typical led mod and failed.I need more victims!!

@NEScapades Thanks Gibby! It's the best MOD I've seen so far. Really ingenious way of using the DSLite parts on older system. They say it can be done on the old DMG's as well. I've since ordered 2 more DSLite LCDs just to see if it can be done. Thanks for your time!
