Fun Fact: If you time your last C. Bomb right in the Wily 4 boss, you can die, and kill the boss at the same time. You still win, too. Hooray for winning, frozen explosion particles!
@therealSonicGamer953 Bingo. Even Bubble Lead's name is a clue to its purpose: it's not "lead" as in the soft but heavy metal, but "lead" as in "lead the way."
Wily Wars is so slow. I dont know whats more frustrating waiting a minute to kill an enemy with the mega buster or waiting a minute for the "WARNING" message in Megaman X6. Ugh so frustrating.
What I love about Dr. Wilys castles, is that he wastes a lot of stuff building them. 9:36 Look at all the places in the fortress that you didn't go to
As a note to anyone fighting the turret boss, you actually CAN do it if you are down one crash bomb/save yourself one bomb for whatever. You can take out the wall guarding the far left turret and the top left turret itself with one shot. It's not an easy shot though, and the turret boss is one thing I will never fully forgive Capcom for.......
I will concede the point that WILY WARS Megaman 2 is harder than the original. Still, Megaman 2 is honestly the easiest in the series IMO. Also, as has been mentioned, any wall destroyed in the boss room of Wily 4 will stay that way, should you screw up and die. Refilling the weapon really isn't too hard either.
i didnt know if you noticed, but every megaman video you say that either this robot master or that one is the easiest ever. What do you think is the easyest one?
I strongly disagree; I found Megaman 4 much faster to finish and with much easier bosses. Though the Robot Master weapons were much worse in 4 than 2 which contributes somewhat, but still, outside few levels (*cough*Ringman*cough*), Megaman 4 was a wash. And it didn't really have the "Must Have This Item"-feature of MM2.
Here a hit for beating wily 4 boss you can use the crash bombs to destroy all the walls then die you respawn right above the first room with spiked floor to the lower left side near the ladder you can kill the floating robots to restore the crash bombers and when you reach the boss all the walls you destoryed will be gone It uses a life but you can save two crash bombs and hiting the boss on the top left is a breeze with that wall gone.
I also HATE that boss in Wily 4. The first time I faced him in Normal Mode I screwed up with Crash Bomber and had to re-start again. But I still love Mega Man 2 for the Robot Masters but don't care for the castle so I sometimes don't bother with it.
The anger and hostility in your voice though towards this game is amazing and funny at the same time.
ahh...ok! :D Nice vids by the way! megaman bass anywho... is easy(I heard you talk about it..)
IF you played as bass.. yeah the first boss is hard(cold man) but... then.. every thing is easy... the only trick with bass is to keep doing the dash double jump thing coz it works well...
This has confused me, since I can't work out how you prefer the NES soundtrack. 8 bit nostalgia is all it is. Nostalgia. Quality > Nostalgia, and people I know in America hate the fact they can't get this on cartridge just to listen to the music on the console.
Sure, its your opinion, and 8 bit music has a charm in itself, but the fact is that the quality of the music itself is better on the Genesis. More room for bass, held notes, harmonics, etc.
Umm for myself I played Mega Man in about 2004 with the Mega Man Anniversary Collection and sucked at the game but recently got good a them. Mega Man 2 is my favorite game of the series and I LOVE the Mega Man 2 NES soundtrack compared to the Wily Wars version. So for me there isn't any nostalgia. Sometimes things are just better in an older form.
It's not that the quality was better. The bass here positively OWNS the NES version's. It's that the instrumentation could have been done MUCH better on Wily Wars. The instrumentation on the NES version, while older, used better tones for the songs. The Genesis music COULD have been better by far than the NES, however, Capcom just used the wrong instruments, along with holding notes that shouldn't have been held, and forgetting some notes (the first part of Quickman's theme is a prime example)
"If I screw up once, I'm dead!" (gets hit) "...if I screw up twice, I'm dead!"

Next time, use Bubble Lead to find the hidden holes.
It helped me get through Wily 4 and I STILL have trouble at the Wily 5 boss NOT the final FINAL boss.

Mega Man 2 is the easiest game imo.
Bosses are easy, stages are easy. You can farm for energy if you run out of it.
I've had problems trying to beat other Mega Man games, but this one is so damned easy.

Um, in Wily Stage 4, Bubble Lead is the one thing I use to find fake flooring, at 5:34, the fake flooring is at the right of the ladder.

In the NES version, he(the crash bomb boss) is also weak to physical contact, but only if a crash bomb just exploded
