  • I agree with Bucky, the clear cases are cool XD for me, it's because it's fun to see everything light up and running. hehe XD

  • im still gonna get a full tower case.....

  • Full case, intel i7, 16GB DDR3 ram and I'm only running Minecraft XD

  • @Mariushansen97 minecraft is 720p it just has a low polygon count

  • @Mariushansen97 U are fucking idiot

  • ask yourself this: would you want this guy to build your computer?

  • Rosewill TU-155 II 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 500W Power Supply BEST!

  • Just A quick Comment make sure u get a Wireless lan network card Youll regret it if you have wired internet Like So Other people no this

  • syfruz is cool

  • Comment removed

  • wow seriously liquid cooling

  • Hey, careful with the motherboard! You don`t want to take to much on it.

  • I us a full tower, there not that big just a little taller then my old mid tower

  • Could anybody tell me what a good cost-efficient case with some sort of PSU would be for a Micro ATX 9.6"x7.87" Motherboard? I seem to be having a hard time finding a case BIG enought to fit it. I also want to make sure that it's not too big for the cards screw holes to line up.

  • what brand is ur case? i'd like to have one! :P

  • tower case it is :)

  • @TricksAndBeats size, and whether it fits into the case, think of it the same way as a cpu socket

  • whats the difference between microATX and ATX?

  • @TricksAndBeats about 7 cm ;)

  • i wish someone told me to get a bigger case before i went with a case that can't house my graphics card. although having my computer half way open does provide some good air flow.

  • what are the specs on your cap?? lolesting

  • where did you get that transparent computer case ?

  • dont get full towers? full towers are top of the line dont listen to that piece of crud the 800d, haf x, antec 1200 etc. ARE NOT FOR SERVERS!!!

  • @rockyroyzhang well, they might not be for servers, however they are quite excessive when it comes down to size, unless you are making a supercomputer, im planning on building a gamingcomputer with an extended ATX motherboard, so i dont have a choise really, it wont fit in a mid tower, but for a normal person with average ATX motherboards its not needed.

  • fail if u are going to build a decent pc u need a full size case due to air flow and graphics size

  • I got a ful tower because the haf 932 advanced kicks ass

  • ps dont hold the motherboard like him because ur fingers have oils that can mess up the motherbord

  • @tony92543 ps That's obviously his old motherboard

  • @ljrox123 Obviously, but he's giving a warning to us. This includes the reason why newbies tend to use non-conducting thermal compounds, because you don't want to short it out.

  • @ljrox123

    oh hai thar

  • @ben1996123 Oh wow.... did you just happen to see that, or are you like stalking me?

  • @ljrox123

i just happened to see that.

  • @ljrox123

ps hes setting a bad example, and this guy is making sure all the noobs dont mess up their new motherboards

  • @howycwap ps learning the hard way helps make sure you do your research and teaches people not to be stupid in the future.

  • @ljrox123

ps youre an idiot. wasting a 200$ motherboard is definitely the way to learn. and do you call watching this video? is this not research?

  • @tony92543 not to mention your static charge which will ruin your MB

  • Sorry, but i have to strongly disagree, buying a full tower case affords many benefits.

    1. Easier to work inside.

    2. Supports all type of form factors (motherboards)

    3. Better airflow.

    4. Supports large videocards (10.5 - 12.0)

  • @crazykong1967 I correct you on this.

    1. Sure, easier to work. True.

    2. Yep.

    3. This is where it gets a bit tricky. It totally depends on the outputs. Like how many air outputs and fans.

    4. This is where it pays back. Big video cards are fun to work with. Also oftenly big vid cards have atleast 2 fans so the airflow aint that important on the GPU part.

  • atx is normal size m-atx is giant and micro atx means small

  • What does M-ATX means? Micro ATX?

  • i already know how to build computers but im bored so im on youtube and where did you get that clear case thats awsome i want one for my computer

  • @thenewboston

where did you get that see through case from?

  • Does an ATX case work well with a Micro ATX motherboard or will the case be too large for the motherboard?

  • @TrueZtyleZ7 normally the case should support a micro atx MB, just doesn't use the same standoffs, you'll have lots of space in there

  • ur comp looks SICK!

  • Getting a full case helps keep it cool and looks fucking awesome. My uncle has a case that comes up to my knees and I'm 6ft tall.

The problem with the flat cases is that the heat sits at the top and the top is only a couple of inches from the mother board.

  • So get a mid case :P

  • This tutorials helped me alot a year ago when i didn't know anything about hardware, now one year later i don't need a computer shop anymore to repair my pc =D, and i'm able to build one myself.

    Thanks so much!

  • You forgot to mention that we shouldn't buy AT cases. Cause, you know, they are popular nowadays.

  • héh_Î_fêËl_sõ_lonÊlý_tôdäy

  • Since this video is old, I feel the need to ask if the information about sizes of cases has changed over the years. Would it still be foolish to invest in a Full-size case?

  • good tutorials!

  • Good to know, plus i don't givz no shitz about whether it looks ugly or not

  • That case is veryyyyyyt ugly a piece of shit get a coolermaster

  • @The3DMachine Yea,below 340 looks like a huge piece of black shit.

  • Cooler Master storm scout FTW!!!!

  • I WANT MY COOLMASTER HAF 932 xD

  • I like see-throughs...

  • Don't you need sound cards and video cards for a pc?

  • gaming computer

  • That case is the ugliest piece of shit I've ever seen.

  • i have an msi big bang xpower ad cant find a case to fit it in

  • your computer is dam pretty

  • sata is better than ide, i checked =)

  • what kind of case do i need for these?:

AMD AM3 Phenom II X6 1090T BOX Black Edition HDT90ZFBGRBOX

    ASUS M4A79T Deluxe PCI-E DDR3

    Sapphire ATI Radeon PCI-E HD5570 2GB DDR3

    DDR3 4GB memory

WESTERN DIGITAL WD Caviar Blue 500gb

    Cooler Master V6 GT

    Enermax ECO80+ 620W..

  • @BundyGTAS

Dont buy that motherbaord if youre buying an x6 processor. I recommend buying a mobo with 890fx or 890gx chipset. 790FX motherbaords are old they prob dont support x6 without updating the BIOS.

Just go to newegg dot com and browse the AMD motherbaords section to find out more about these things.

Youre gonna need a mid atx case for these.

  • @BundyGTAS damn black edition!?!?!?! ur really pullin out all the stops here

  • alien ware cases are the best

  • @Mannproductions57 thats a brand of computer, not the case.

  • @davidl343 He knows that, he just means that the case alienware makes for their computers is friggen beast.

  • i keep loking at the blow picture in the background lol

  • Is ibuypower . com a good place to make a computer?

  • @Drewsky351 no i would suggest building your own computer because it is cheaper and you can get all of your stuff at newegg

  • A full tower is the way to go. If you ever plan to upgrade your computer parts, then you want to have a extra room because the parts are only going to get bigger.

@13attleflame uATX is refering to micro ATX motherboards. It means the motherboard is smaller then the standard ATX motherboard.

If you are looking to build a custom PC you should check out (ElitePcBuilding . com) It covers all the steps in putting a computer together and its just amazing

  • your pc is awsome

  • Lol I'm going to get a ANTEC 300, because it's cheap as shit and looks badass lol.

  • WHAT IS uATX mother board

  • what the f....

  • can you make all those videos in to 1 or 2 because you are talking about all the part

just tell the main idea and that is all

  • What about a full tower for ventilation properties?

  • That is so cool, your see through computer i mean....

  • every1 hates the mid tower now. thanks bucky.

  • Also, with the power craze comes the need for more space to provide the air flow or a kick ass cooling system! Now that's what I call bragging rights but beware the BOD! LOL

  • I have a buddy that just uses cardboard boxes and decks them out like crazy! Anyway, @noodlez1968 - Bucky made this tutorial two tears ago and, if you remember, that is basically towards the end of the mid tower craze era. Nowadays, it is very common for people to use full towers because of the expansion craze! Everyone wants the biggest, and fasted mother board so they can put as many expansion cards that they can get their hands on in their cases!

  • Anything about graphics cards

  • 3:13 DANGGGGGG

  • My Core i7-930 in my HAF 932 will eat your mid-tower Athlon PoS for breakfast... without any milk!

  • I believe its AGP. Accelerated Graphics Port.

  • Full tower is a need for a gaming rig nowaday haha ;)

  • wow 3:12 is so dam sick and cool

  • Dude, Full Towers has much more space, wich means more Fan can be added and better air circulation.

  • my full tower nuke silo war machine case finds this video offending. i'll tell you why i'd go for it. it makes me nostalgia.

  • can you build two seperate computers if you have a large enough case?

  • Just build one out of Legos!

  • I forgot, there was another type of motherboard that is now phased out. It started with letter A.... It was an acronym... Anybody remember? Now all the motherboards are PCIs

  • @KakuKachoO are you talking a bout an ASUS motherboard?

  • @ScottyIbanez No, back in the day, there were two types of motherboards. One was PCI, and the other is the one I forgot and is currently phased out.... ASUS is just a brand name

  • Go to newegg and look for the Rosewill CHALLENGER ATX Mid Tower

Only costs $45, supports all types of form factors, has 3 fans that comes with it, is very good quality and looks deadly. I'm using it right now.

  • why u hate this motherboard so much it seems u wanna smash it on the table the way u holding it.... lol

  • So I'm just supposed to ask for an ATX/MicroATX case?

  • your case almost looks like a fish tank

  • OMG Your PC Is Awesome

  • Is more space in case ... more chance to cool?? true or fail?

  • @Rogueixpresents

    Betters the air flow

  • im getting

    coolermaster x 942

  • why would I CUZ I WANT TOO

    ahahahahjahahahahahahaha

  • doesnt the case also effect the cooling system??? Like if its all black and has only holes in the back in can not cool fast right?? please respond

  • i have this: Casecom Black/Silver Mid Tower Case - Front Blue LED 120mm Fan - With Side Window, should i get something better but not too expensive

  • a see-through case...such a ricer...

  • Graphic cards are huge now so get a full tower

  • mines made out of toothpicks and super glue

  • what about btx

  • Thermaltake Armor ....OOh yeah! It's over kill but ya never know what the future may bring! I might need that extra space =)

b.t.w your clear case hella rocks! =)

  • I like that you repeat and emphasize certain things. I am learning a lot from your tutorials. Thank you for taking the time to do all this. It is much appreciated.

  • @Gondolin1983 he is getting payed for it

  • Allot of high end cards wont fit in these size cases anymore.

  • I have the Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

  • i have a Thermaltake VL30001N1Z Level 10 Super-Gaming Modular Full Tower Case

  • the correct grammer(just because i do not know how to categorize it) is transparent, not see through.

  • by mid case, do you mean mid tower?

  • @hahavonfluer2 they're the same thing.

  • @hahavonfluer2 yes he does

  • the best case is the Alienware case cause it has an extremely awesome cooling system

  • im getting a full tower

  • for those newbies out there that are using this vid as reference please take note NEVER handle components ESPECIALLY the MB they are fragile.as a rule touching the circuits with your oily fingers is not cool.also he has no anti static mat or wristband theirs about 2,000 volts in a static charge you can feel it takes approx 30volts to brick(trash) a circuit on a board like that. i applaud you the newboston for giving the tutorial a shot but perhaps a bit more research nest time

  • it's now called a mid-tower or a full-tower. mid cases can carry almost anything now full-towers are still for servers or for show + they have a lot more air circulation for over clocking

  • They're the most popular kind of case. *Insert hand gesture here*

  • E-ATX FTW!

  • Hey bucky bro i have a problem. I have an old but good tower and i am building a gaming pc soon. i just wanna know how to tell what kind of motherboard i have in my old tower so i can use it in my new one.. i want to buy a micro atx case but i dont know if my motherboard is micro atx..how do i find out?

  • @xbesteverx1 Wait... let me get this straight... you have an old tower... but your ganna buy a new case for it? so why even bother with the old tower then? and usually you can tell what kind of motherboard you have because its labeled if it doesn't have any labels at all then your ganna be clueless on what kind of motherboard it is...

  • @whitemanwii lol it has a label I just dont know if its atx or nor

  • @xbesteverx1 oh well uhh your never ganna know.. unless there's ways to tell but idk any

  • so why not full tower?

  • dude take of the posters theyre disturbing

  • @MrFranics off*, they're*

  • I haven't got a built computer yet, but I've seen a lot of good feedback for the Thermaltake Tower (@ Best Buy for $80) so I'd recommend it for gaming comp. However this is coming from a guy that hasn't dabbled too much in computers but is giving a nice recommendation.

  • AWESOME video 5/5 very comprehensive!

  • im either going to get a cardbord box or a fucking sexy case with LCD's and shit all over it

  • There's also BTX form. They are pretty rare now, but from the time you posted them, they were pretty common in Dell PC's.

  • You forgot BTX, but it's pretty obselete.

  • 0:41 Voice crack :P

  • @PwningIRL god forbid his voice cracks

  • APEVIA X-Infinity ATXB6KLW-BK/420 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply

    That one is cool

  • what you all talking and giving comment today will be trash and shit for another day later. technology are moving faster than we ever think of it. don't blame this guy.

  • Hey what is better for cooling? Desktop case or a tower case?

  • @kazzagazza2010 Hmm..i would guess on Tower..

  • @kazzagazza2010 Tower, more space.

  • Thats a fucking ugly case he has!

  • where did u get your case>???

  • I have a full tower as a home computer... why shouldn't I? :P Got enough space here hahaha :D

  • Install Linux KDE4 4 Gb Screems on a Linux System

  • Oh, yes. Your case is cool. I like cases with like a window on the side of it. Let's you monitor the dust invasion force's progress...lol Damn dust.

  • I have a Cooler Master HAF 932 Full tower - best case I have ever worked with.

  • @noodlez1968 thats what im getting lol

  • @noodlez1968 thoze r FTW

  • @noodlez1968 Cooler master makes very good cases and they don't require tools to work with. like the HAF 922, and 932 use screwless hard drive and optical drive holders

  • @noodlez1968 i just ordered one. can't wait! :))

  • @noodlez1968 Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced is just as good and cheaper.

  • @noodlez1968 That's the case I was looking at :)

  • @noodlez1968 you lucky fuck [jealous] i got me a haf 922, also perdy nice

  • @noodlez1968 i got the 922 its a shorter version of yours

  • @noodlez1968 damn i just google it and it is amazing! and i was looking for one :D so thx!

  • @noodlez1968 you can get way cheaper with same space.

  • full case heeheh get it and add lots of lots of stuff use as a cabinet 0_O or add a water cooling ??? xD

  • Comment removed

  • It's hardly noticeable...

  • Hi, I like to buy a new motherboard for gaming, but how will i know if it fits in the case i have?? I have an Xion case.

  • @uphill248 Ok. First you need to find out exactly what case you have, then look it up online, preferably Newegg. you then look at the form factor of it, and that will tell you what motherboard you need. Also, be sure when buying your motherboard that your existing parts will work with it, namely the CPU.

  • You forget eATX(Extended ATX).

  • i love the big tower corsair 800D

  • im just gonna use a cardbord box

  • right on ;D

  • @Horrortunes

gal videos how to build computer are great ,couse it is step by step

    thanks
