@nerfrocks2009 Thanks man. I appreciate that. My annoyance wasn't just at you, but rather at everyone who thinks they have the right to unnecessarily wish death upon me, curse me, or just general internet bullying. Whilst I take none of it seriously, it is hurtful to see how low people go. Peace to you too.
why would you spend money on those pieces of shit...there like $150 to $200 for standard ones that suck balls ... get the top of the line pro-jumpers if ur gonna get them at all, u bounce like 6 feet with them...
how much do u weigh? because i was thinking about getting some but i only weigh 85 pounds and i dont want the junior ones cuz u can only jump 3 feet with them. please help
@parlbyview I had troubles once with the stabilizer rods. Got them fixed in no time and never had such problem again. 7leagues are just amazing. I will miss them...
because you wish you were dancing in the moonlight with this guy...but instead your locked in your creepy uncles basement waiting for him to give you 'special tickles' ?
some parts look exactly like the original 'powerisers' but i bet this stuff is way more cheaper than the real stilts. I would never buy those 'air runners'
Does anyone have an opinion on these made by "Skyrunners". I think it is an Australian company but i dont really know **** about these.
Also, i want to buy some but they have the option of 70kg-90kg or 90kg-110kg. I am exactly 90kg so i feel like one will be too soft but the other will be too stiff. Any suggestions?
and now i talked only out of my own experience and from what we have seen in canada, so basicly about the design and the comfort there are nothing changed, it still has the same support and feel.... if its up to me i'd go with the MB70 2008 models wich is awsome and it has loooong life...
there all millions of companys out there wich makes those, and plus my older bro work for one of them for your information, the one you are looking at is the same design as the 2009 ones the only difference they have is the Upgraded Carbon Fiber Springs and the Superior Hardware Components,
There are six or seven companies that make these, not millions. The new model does not look exactly like these either. It has a single square column instead of the two tubes here, a small truss in the heel, and the diagonal part between the footplate and spring is a tube, not an I-beam. You're right about the springs, though. I've heard nothing but praise for the new springs.
And comfort? The new ones have totally different bindings. These ones wiggled, came loose, scraped, and pinched.
there are two different kinds, the ones he is trying on is the 2009 version and the one is the old virsion, the old virsion makes your knees hurt after couple of humps, but the new virsion has better grip, but again the problem is the old virsion the knee support doesnt open when your jumping, but the new virsion has a chance of opening while jumpin, but the new one looks alot cooler than the old ones, but yet again the old ones are tougher and lasts longer... enjoy
This video was posted in October of 2007, so I don't think those are the new 2009 ones. They look different too. There are only a couple of people outside China who have even seen the newest ones up close.
The ones he's on were a total flop, too. They were uncomfortable, misaligned, and had a tendency towards sudden and catastrophic breaking at the heel under heavy use.
Please don't try to give information unless you really know what you're talking about. Nothing in that comment was correct.
I think you have to smoke something. First was Poweriskip than follow up Poweriser, 7 Leagues boots and then all Chinese manufactures came and started stealing design, ideas, videos, pics etc. AIR TREKKER is a low cost low quality copy of the originals.
bah i have to correct a few people down there methinks vv
these are upwings, or the 'elite' version of flying locust stilts, didn't think htey even got to the market as there were problems with them, regardless of the design faults of these, they are bloody pretty stilts, don't know when the new version of the elites is coming out, but shouldn't be too long
Oh, they got to the market alright- see this guy who bought a pair? They stopped production after a while due to a few catastrophic failures, alignment issues, and truly terrible cuffs. I saw a peek on some prototypes for the new ones, and the old cuffs were so bad that they now just have knee bars. The new ones will supposedly have optional Poweriser-style cuffs, bicycle quick-releases for the upper bindings, better footplates/bindings and (OH NO!) the ability to fold at the heel for transport.
powerisers they are supposed to be good they are around £200-$400 but are very good im getting a pair and they have parts you can buy for repairs but becareful people and have started to introduce fakes so beware when you buy
Nice bocks.. I've been thinking about getting the exact same type. Haven't tried bocks yet, so I'm wondering if they are as good/bad as people say. Heard that the cuffs are loose, giving instability and that the carbon springs tend to get damaged very easily. None the less, they do look slick..
and on these ones...as long as you have fairly thick legs (like me)then they are fine and very tight....also the springs will get damaged on any kind of jumping stilt easily....when you buy them i recommend that you cover the springs in some way.....
eg.:covering in a few layers of tape, seat belt covers, cricket bat handle grips....the list goes on
personally i would never trust these poor built stilts, so if you are a newbie bocker go on and get them but change them as long as you have the skills.
it all depends what you feel comfortable using......airrunners are a lot more cofotable in many ways....but the others have stronger springs i think....
