@tn228 - Jews at that time had to wear a Yellow Star to be recognized. The star had to be sewn on the left breast. I assume she has unstitched the Star - a lot of jewish people did this, but it was very punishable - so the old woman had a look to see the puncture holes on her clothes. and really the old woman is not that kind person!
