If you only knew what God's word actually tells us you would understand how we can believe. There are multiple prophecies that can be proven to have come to pass (ex. Rev. 9:11 speaking of Saddam by name). Unfortunately for many people they refuse to see things that have actually come to pass and understand that many things have been foretold in God's word.
lets say there is god but you cant prove that any religious material is actually holy because of the fact that no holy figure actually wrote it. I think that this is the biggest dis qualifier because of the fact that if god didn't want any of the work to get corrupted i think he'd make the holy descendants literate, rather than leaving it to regular people to write and yes your ordinary person is not perfect

The koran isn't the bible, and the bible wasn't written 2009 years ago. The bible was written over a time span of 1500 years by over 40 different authors on three continents with one common theme throughout the book. No other book in history has been written like the bible.

I'm so glad there are Christian bands that are some other genre besides bluegrass, classical, or contemporary! Don't get me wrong, I love songs from those genres because they glorify God, but I'm more of a rock/pop kind of person.

Just to play devil's advocate, the bible was written by several people at different times, and then compiled into one book. (Or that's how it's supposed to go) No one in the church believes that ONE person wrote the whole thing. So that negates your last point. Granted it's all speculation.

You know what, I'm sick of it, I won't lie, I'm christian, but what you people are doing is WAY past the point of annoying, arguing about God over youtube is pointless, nobody cares, insulting poeples beliefs over youtube is just plain annoying, and while I have no problem with preaching the gospel, using it to tell people that they're going to hell is not something anyone, much less God, would want. My advice: stop trying to understand it with your natural mind (i.e. the flesh) there isn't a christian out there who still doesn't agree with the Bible in every way, the change comes when your spirit comes to grips with what the Holy Spirit wants for you; give up trying to control your life, you simply cannot do it on your own!- open your heart to god and stop trying to get it with your "mind"...

Yes, I know the christian way is to accept, and "believe" what the bible says, and that we must have "faith" and all that. However, I cannot accept what the bible teaches, and I do not wish to be associated with their teachings. I believe there is a God, I just don't think it's the one described in the bible.
As an aside, I would prefer to continue such discussions via private message, seeing as how the youtube comments page is hardly the place for such discussion.
