The Blackhawk type helicopter is still in service and is the best as far as crew survivability is concerned. Say a bullet is fired at a target. The actual unit cost of an Army UH-60 Black Hawk Chopper is $5.9 million dollars. While a unit cost of the Airforce's MH-60G Pave Hawk is $10 million dollars. Each variety of the chopper has its own designated modifications for the branch of Military it serves. Depending on its mission needs, the final cost of the chopper can be higher or lower. The actual unit cost of an Army UH-60 Black Hawk Chopper is $5.9 million dollars. While a unit cost of the Airforce's MH-60G Pave Hawk is $10 million dollars. Each variety of the chopper has its own designated modifications for the branch of Military it serves. Depending on its mission needs, the final cost of the chopper can be higher or lower. As you can tell, I'm a history fanactic:) The Black Hawk Down senario in Somalia just happens to be one of my favorite military events to study.

WOW. Simply amazing. Why not just say a Trillion? Do you have any concept of money? You can basically buy 100 Black Hawks for 2 BILLION DOLLARS!. Aircraft Carriers cost billions NOT HELICOPTERS! Use your common sense! That's like me saying I thought that Ford Explorer was 100 million dollars. It dosn't make any sense at all. Why even put a billion into your comment.

Yeah there is no way it costs 2 billion. Use your common sense man, do you have any idea how much money 2 billion dollars is??? That would mean the blades cost WAY more than the damn black hawk put together. A Black Hawk helicopter depending on the modifications costs around $5.5 - $10 Million US.

no hollywood make movies to Heroic when war is not. i also said that this vid should not be played with sad music. More pump up music cus in black hawk down they cut out SOOOOO many guys and actully 4 black hawks went down. also there was this 1 Delta force guy that played 5 delta force guys... so i know what im saying.

no... Actully 4 birds went down. The 2001 Movie "Black Hawk Down" Only showed 2 birds cus in real life the movie would be about... 5-6 hours long. 2 birds went down in the city. 1 crashed on the beach and 1 crazh landed on the airstrip. Like i said. i know what im talking about. my whole family has been in war and i asked my cousins Commanding Officer (who was a ranger who DID NOT go into battle) told me the whole story...

dude... i know people that were there. Ive sat down with them. My uncle and my 2 cousins know them... I know what went on. I personally not read the book but my friend has. The bottom line is that i know people who were there and they told me the real story. 2 black hawks did not go down, 4 went down. the reason why in the end when that delta force guy went back out was to recover the downed chopper that crashed on the beach. also to get the other rangers in the city. Dunno what your prob, is, why hate a movie cause you don't like the politics behind it, americans make their movies end well allway's, even they did loose the war, still they show that they won it. Even in other historical movies e.g: In "From Hell" Johny Depp catches Jack the Ripper, even though in real life he was never found.
PS: In cause you didn't notice, Youtube is for fun movies, not political discussions.
