hey, I just recently watched this and I'm interested in seeing more animenia video's as well as "amv heaven". I'd have to assume you've made something by now, considering this video was made 2 years ago, but I cant seem to find any animenia video's anywhere on youtube or otherwise. where can I find these video's?

I am sadly an offender of this crime granted that clip of the DBZ one is awful by even bad AMV standards. I do it out of boredom, and I want do better, maybe with some better editing software and a bit of practice. Till then I edit fights of an anime trying to make it at least somewhat enjoyable to watch the entire fight if one does not feel like going through the span of several episodes. Though I do use two songs at times, would be cool to see someone do a GOOD AMV of an entire Album....

@QueenXOfXHearts77 In retrospect, back when DBZ was at the height of its popularity with the Cell saga, basically all you can think about while watching it is how the whole Hybrid Theory album had a strange way of fitting with the whole dark/emo theme associated with it, and thus gave birth to many bad AMVs as a result. I'm sure there may be someone out there who has made a good AMV with the two put together, we'll never know.

About AMV's and other Editor's, A few of them on youtube are really good, for Example XEagleClawX, Dasmightynooblet, Ryoki, Magicflier, and countless more, they edit according to the beat and flow of the music, and they are good at it, look them up if you get a chance.

you have a very good point about some amv's being shockingly bad and some being amazing but there is no middle ground on amv's they are good or bad and i would know i have been inot anime for 16 years and was making amv's before youtube came around i used to share mine via P2P sharing like kazaa and now i still use lme wire to share them but you have a very valid and relivent point

you do have a point. but the amv in the end isnt THAT good, too many random effects and the song is way too slow for the scenes, did i mention the random effects... whats with the random circles and while lines poping out of nowhere, same effect goes on in the whole amv which means the viewer gets bored and forwards it till it ends, in the end out of the 4min amv u only watch 20sec most and dont even bother to rate, a good amv must have diversity and catch the viewer from the very beggining.

Nice AMV, and for the standart are very good examples of AMV's something funny, something well timed and sometimes a very well selected song and images xD. Personally i recommend you to watch a Haruhi Suzumiya's AMV named "Skittles", just put "Haruhi Skittles" in the search bar and you find it quickly xD!. It's one of the best AMV i watched ever xD!

In an AMV for me it's not even about special effects. It's you choose a good original song and scenes relevant to the song and it's in good quality it can be heads and tails above the rest.
