if your holding the brakes to do a standstill burnout, yes, it burns up the rears.. but they naturally dont apply as much force, so they will prob. burn out as fast as the front, depending on how frequent you "light em up"
Your wrong about the 5.7 toyota being basically the same as the 5.7 chevy there to tottaly different engines. Just like the ford 360 and the dodge 360. There both 5.9's, butt totally different.
The tundra has aftermarket forced induction, and tuning mods added to it. Forced induction greatly increses torque over horsepower which is why the tundra launched so well. The srt-10 is stock, yes it has the viper motor which produces over 500hp, butt it's all factory, naturally aspirated, and just so you kids know, the buggati veyron will exceed 250 mph factory stock.
Both of these vehicles are nice, but they are also big and heavy. An 8.3 in the eighth at that elevation is less than impressive. This all seems to be an argument over who has the fastest brick wall.

I would take the SC Toyota all day long. The entire Tundra 5.7 powertrain system was designed to take the extra stress and HP of the TRD supercharger, whether you install one or not. if your holding the brakes to do a standstill burnout, yes, it burns up the rears.. but they naturally dont apply as much force, so they will prob. burn out as fast as the front, depending on how frequent you "light em up"

Your wrong about the 5.7 toyota being basically the same as the 5.7 chevy there to tottaly different engines. Just like the ford 360 and the dodge 360. There both 5.9's, butt totally different.

The tundra has aftermarket forced induction, and tuning mods added to it. Forced induction greatly increses torque over horsepower which is why the tundra launched so well. The srt-10 is stock, yes it has the viper motor which produces over 500hp, butt it's all factory, naturally aspirated, and just so you kids know, the buggati veyron will exceed 250 mph factory stock.

As a good toyota fan... i do hate dodge on the fact of reliability.. but they are beautiful trucks as one person commented.. but the 5.7 tundra honestly.. cant hardly be beat.. it can take a corvette to 110 stock.. supercharged with no govenor.. theres no competition.. but all toyota is.. toyota has a basic chevy block.. so ya chevy and toyota are basically bros.. cant wait for the new 2010 supra tho toyotas new 3.5 HTTS engine V6 with a 0-60 in a little over 4.0 secs and.. its a HYBRID!!

I would take the SC Toyota all day long. The entire Tundra 5.7 powertrain system was designed to take the extra stress and HP of the TRD supercharger, whether you install one or not. Try that with a truck from the "small three" and your engine and drivetrain are living in dog years!!!!! You will get to know the tranny repair guy really well!!!!!

both are beautiful ass trucks, but I would definitely agree with taking the TRD S/C Tundra over the Dodge SRT, mainly due to reliability. I'm biased though because my dad has a fire-engine red SR5 with the ifooooorce V8. He wants the blower so damn bad, I really hope he gets it!
