  • We deal with the CNS as well!

  • I meant to say love, not cove. I love this film and this profession really is taking over health care. Every year I see more and more complex health issues with greater and greater success than my colleagues in medicine.

  • I cove this film. This profession is literally taking over health care.

  • who gives a rat's flaming ass what the dope pushing medical failure's opinion is about anything. since when have they proven to be an authority on health matters? now if they have some input on how to fail to get sick well, i would have reason to lend them some credibility, given their proven track record in this field.

  • @hiodr

The public cares. This will be a great thing for the lay public as they still hold medicine to be the ultimate in health care. We know it is bs but they dont

  • i will remind people that the procedure of cervical manipulation is not only performed by chiropractors but also performed by some physical therapists(increasing numbers) and osteopathes. regarding "stroke" i would encourage people to research the numerous/various OTC/prescription drugs related to "stroke".there's also plenty of information regarding drug interactions associated with "stroke".

  • jersey, to support your argument; there are more people who have strokes as a result of their head leaning back into a beautician's wash sink each year than have from cervical adjusting. i think we should all get together and see if we can get, not only wash sinks, but beauticians de-licensed and thrown out of their profession if it ever hapens to them (this was intended as sarcasm boys and girls). any of you anti-chiropractic people ever hear of the term 'iatrogenic death'? look into it.

  • Chiropractic is awesome!!

  • Your right on R9pt9. Chiropractic is very safe and efficient. I love detecting and correcting sublations of the uppper carvical region and then letting the body do the rest. What happened to drevicerator below. Did he leave chiropractic because he wasn't able to understand how chiropractic works and not able to cope with patients? I've read that the few DC's who leave chiropractic are not "people persons" and when they go into medicine they then recieve a rude awakening of medicines problems.

  • Chiropractic does NOT increase the immune system.. if this was true it would be a contraindication to immune diseases such as RA.

I am a DC and currently obtaining my MD PhD.... let us not mislead the public. Stick to musculoskeletal disorders... we ARE good at that!

  • Most folks are in neurologic imbalance, sympathetic dominance.

That's bad for the immune system and the tonal model of Chiropractic would insist that balance would help, it is a matter of balance!

Keep studying, we do know that medical treatment and drugs account for hundreds of thousands of deaths per year in the USA alone!

They don't even know what causes disease except that 70+% is preventable by lifestyle changes alone.

We should rule Musculoskeletal and be seeking to help visceral sufferers

  • while it shouldn't be said that it increases the immune system it most def. changes it for the better. ex. Clarence S. Gonstead from crippled with R.A. to the largest chiropractic practice EVER!

  • trackstar, read up on the research strongly suggesting spinal adjustments instigating immense release of luekocytes. Chiropractic always understood its positive effects on the immune response.

  • I firmly believe you missed the point of chiropractic and feel medicine will be your savior when in actuality you will feel the blunt force of the many misplaced realities of medicine. Good luck though.

  • Chiropractic is proven to increase the level of white blood cells circulating in the blood stream, which, common sense dictates, improves immune response.

To deny the systemic benefits of chiropractic is absurd. Only about 10% of nerve fibers in our body convey pain. What about the 90% that controls sensation? Heart rhythm? Bronchial dilation? Mucous secretion? Etc. Do you honestly believe that irritation at the nerve root only causes a 4/5 muscle response with no visceral component?

  • Actually only 6% of all nerve fibers are sensory for pain. That being said, your point is well taken. We need to be mindful of how the nervous system impacts the function of the entire body, not just pigeon-hole ourselves into being back pain specialists.

  • While there is no data to support the claim that chiropractic care can keep one from succumbing to an infectious disease, there is data in the peer reviewed literature that chiropractic manipulation leads to a burst of leukocyte production. By the way, congrats on pursuing your MD / PhD. That's awesome and I wish you well on your new endeavors.

  • @dreviscerator

Actually, a study done at National showed it does, albeit not for very long ( a few hours). And RA is a condition that is better off using mobilization techniques rather than adjusting.

  • I can evicerate your mislead contention that chiropractic does'nt increase the immune response. Chiropractic does enhance the immune response. I want you to research this for yourself, you...you..quitter and switcher.

  • @dreviscerator Beg to differ...When dealing with RA one must not leave the chiropractic adjustment out of the treatment plan. The other half of chiropractic is providing information as to the origins of RA and direction as to how to address the underlying cause. I always analyze and clear the spine, provide direction on how to tackle mycoplasm, etc. infections and chelating toxic loads, etc.

  • @dreviscerator Your a bald face traitor to yourself. Your failure in chiropractic was your own, not chiropractics. Your inability to break the heavy chains of your medical indoctrinization is your own failure. Your delving in allopathy will eventually lead you to your own spiritual demise.... G-d please don't let this medic calling himself "drevicerator" evicerate the bodies of innocent souls...through allopathy his aim is to maime. Please guide him to salvatiion. Chiropractic needs him not!

  • @dreviscerator - What does "if this was true it would be a contraindication to immune diseases such as RA" mean? However impressed I am that you are DC MD PhD, I think you should retake English 101... What does an increase of the immune system mean anyway? Inflammation... is it good or is it bad? If it's controlled, it's good; if not, as in RA, it's bad! It's about balance of function... There is a limited body of evidence, but not an absence of evidence; so please stop bragging your "science"

  • @dreviscerator you have no idea what you are talking about. just as well you are finally getting the appropriate degree for someone who doesn't understand what chiropractic is and therefore can do no better than to only attempt to suppress symptoms.

  • @dreviscerator Most MD's are a bunch of quacks, and you want to be one?? Stick to what you do best and keep digging post holes dude!! You are completely full of horse shit! Are you going to MD school on an island?? It has been documented in the literature that chiropractic care can boost the immune system. You are joining a bunch of legal drug pushers. I have more respect for the illegal drug pushers than tiny brain wipers of other peoples bottoms like you doc!

  • @Drdanmitschele Awesome!

  • "I f any of you haters want to know what scientific literature says about chiropractors go to my channel DrJDavid. Before you try to comment be aware that you may need more than two neurons firing at the same time to comprehend the message.I challenge ANY to defy the truth. Bring it on Mr. P.T.M.D. whatever education you think you have. I 'll eat you guys for lunch. Anybody can have an opinion. Treating opinions as facts is ridiculous. Come check it out.....I DARE YOU"

  • i heard there is an adjustment for coccyx subluxations....my butt really hurts when can you do??

  • If you have back/shoulder problems etc. Don't hesitate to see a chiro. The difference afterwards is like you wouldn't believe. I wouldn't have been able to sit here and write this, hadn't it been for my chiro.

  • More of the general public need to be educated on the benefits of chiro.

  • I've found that in my practice, relief of somatovisceral problems happens very quickly (3-6 treatments). We would be naive, of course, to believe that chiropractic can cure everything... afterall, nothing is a panacea. But the potential positive visceral effects from adjustments, imho, have been grossly understated and/or ignored in research due to inconsistency in symptom CAUSE, not treatment.

  • There is a great deal of science and neurology that proves how chiropractic manipulation affects positive changes in, not only neuro-musculoskeletal problems, but many other types of conditions...

    - Matthew

    DCincome(dot)com

PS - It is also a safe therapy, as even insurance companies are aware. That's why chiropractic malpractice insurance is about 1/10 of what an average medical doctor pays.

  • Dr Brian, please educate the layman. What do nerves have to do with the immune system?

  • The Central Nervous syatem-CNS-(the Brain and Spinal cord, along with the peripheral nerves) controls every cell, tissue and organ in the body-Gray's Anatomy-39th edition

Stress on the nerve system decreases immune system function and integrity.

Subluxations by definition interfere with proper communication.

  • Totally Rocks Dude!!!

  • as a matter of fact i have an appointment with my chiropractor today at 3:15 haha. It's the best medicine in the world...allowing your own body to heal itself the way it was intended to.

....or you could just guess at what's wrong and gobble up any number of pills that are probably doing more harm than good than have them taken off the market because people are killing themselves in record numbers...

    i'll go with chiropractic.

  • Thank YOU!!!

  • Chiropractic is also good for colds and general flu symptoms

  • If you don't mind my asking, I've found that when I have a cold and I get adjusted, I clear right up... why?

  • probably because subluxation(misalignment) decreases immune function and adjustments correct them!

  • In addition to correcting immuno suppressant vertebral subluxations, an added bonus is mobilization of white cells (infection fighting) from lymph.

Chiropractic is trully great for everyone!

  • I'm glad to see people are coming to realize the benefits of chiropractic. As a chiropractic student and patient, I have seen the advantages our work can have over traditional medical care. Chiropractic by no means is the only way to health. Allopathic medicine and drugs have a critical place in the care of every human being. But when it comes to musculoskeletal related conditions chiropractic must be considered one of the top of the list for treatment.

  • im a practicicg chiropractor & i can tell u that visceral related diseases and problems are also on the list. I've treated and "cured" many using chiropractic adjustments. it takes extensive care plans to affect visceral functions. this requires courage and faith in what u do.

  • Awesome!!!

  • Good start, the research is out there that continues to show Chiropractic care is a safe and effective treatment with dramatically fewer side effects than other treatments. Keep up the good work!

  • the love of money is the root of all evil. they just can't stand people not buying drugs because no matter how filthy stinking rich they already are from dope money and regardless of how many people's lives they destroy to get it their greed is never satisfied.

  • Hmm. Where are all the anti-chiros? They hate facts.

  • the answer to the question at the very end of the video is "Hell yes."

  • Finally! Thank you!
