CAGW theory over estimated the feedback/forcing parameters, which explains NO warming since 1998, despite record man-made CO2 emissions. @14ladidotty Although high altitude clouds do have a net warming effect, low-level clouds have a cooling effect. Clouds' NET effect is cooling by -21 watts/M^2. Don't worry. There hasn't been ANY warming since 1997. The current solar cycle 24 will reach apogee in about 2 years, will fall for the next 6yrs and then followed by solar cycle 25, which will be the lowest solar cycle in 300 years. Carbon Dioxide in itself isn't what's causing global warming. The plants need carbon dioxide to survive but as we speak, people are destroying acres of forests and jungles every day, which leaves extra carbon dioxide with no where to go but into the atmosphere and water vapor (clouds). And it's the density of carbon dioxide that has been releasing for over a hundred years from man made sources that's making the difference. Ocean "acidification" is also bogus. 50% of fossil fuel already burned, but pH only dropped from 8.2 to 8.1.

The Svensmark Effect looks to be verified according to a peer-review paper he's got under review. CAGW theory over estimated the feedback/forcing parameters, which explains NO warming since 1998, despite record man-made CO2 emissions. Major flaws were: 1)wrong cloud negative feedback,2) overestimated H2O GHG,3) no Svensmark Effect and other problems. We're entering the worst solar minimum in at least 300 yrs so we need to worry about global cooling, not warming. CAGW is a complete fraud.

Moveover, significant warming would actually decrease tornado strength/frequency as latitudinal temperature differentials are what drives them. With significant warming, the differential would lessen, as would tornado strength/severity. Unfortunately, the Earth is now cooling again, so stay safe!!!

@FriendsOfNone if you can't see global temps have stopped warming since 1998, I really can't help you. The global temperature mean is +0.2 now. The AGW bedwetters say Earth has warmed +0.6 C.. Yes, there is seasonality, but the trend line since 1998 is down, despite record levels of CO2 emissions. The theory is busted. We're more than 2 standard deviations from the AGW projected mean, which means mathematically, AGW theory must be abandoned.

If you just personally look at the satellite data yourself, it's obvious that global temps have not risen since 1997. Sure, the decade of 2000-2011 was one of the warmest, but we're on a temp plateau. after solar cycle 24 reaches apogee (which is VERY weak) global temps will fall. Solar cycle 25 will be the lowest in 300 yrs, and they'll plummet. AGW Is dead.

The warming temps caused outgassing of CO2 from the oceans and land, which increased CO2 levels, so rising CO2 was an EFFECT of global warming not a cause. Increasing CO2 perhaps added 0.1 C of the 0.7 C and man's contribution was 6% of that (24ppm/390ppm) or about 0.06 C... Big frigging deal. Get a life.

@14ladidotty Although high altitude clouds do have a net warming effect, low-level clouds have a cooling effect. Clouds' NET effect is cooling by -21 watts/M^2. Don't worry. There hasn't been ANY warming since 1997. The current solar cycle 24 will reach apogee in about 2 years, will fall for the next 6yrs and then followed by solar cycle 25, which will be the lowest solar cycle in 300 years. We needn't worry about AGW. We need to worry about natural global cooling, which will kill millions

@FriendsOfNone I'm afraid that you're still taking this AGW fraud way to seriously. If you look at the satellite data, it's obvious that the MET is correct--no warming since 1997.. Moreover, according to solar cycle projections, the Earth has about 2-3 more yrs of flat temps, to be followed by falling temps through 2030. The Sun drives climate, not CO2's paltry and inconsequential greenhouse effect. Stop listening to politicians and scientists that have agendas, rather science at their core.

@mphello LOL!! The reason the upper troposphere is cooling (contrary to AGW model predictions) is that AGW is a complete sham. The upper troposphere is cooling is that the Earth is getting cooler! As the Met Office announced a few weeks ago, there has been NO global warming since 1997. Earth's radiant heat is being blasted out to space and the increases in CO2 is not abating this fact of physics. AGW is dead. get used to it. Temps will continue to fall from here.

The only bodies that are misrepresenting science are the IPCC, CRU, NASA, NOAA and the thousands of AGW "scientists" that skew data to keep the AGW grant gravy train going. Governments stood to collect $76 TRILLION!! in cap&trade taxes, but all that's gone now. AGW is dead, dead, dead.

Carbon Dioxide in itself isn't what's causing global warming. The plants need carbon dioxide to survive but as we speak, people are destroying acres of forests and jungles every day, which leaves extra carbon dioxide with no where to go but into the atmosphere and water vapor (clouds). And it's the density of carbon dioxide that has been releasing for over a hundred years from man made sources that's making the difference. The sunlight is being trapped in Earth and not enough plants to absorb it

@planetary109 The amount of global vegetation has greatly increased due to higher CO2 (plant food). Ironically, you're argument works against you. Also, since 72% of the Earth is covered by water, oceans, not plants, are the primary CO2 sinks. Coral growth has also increased due to higher CO2 levels, which increases photosynthesis and increased phytoplankton and ALL sea life. Ocean "acidification" is also bogus. 50% of fossil fuel already burned, but pH only dropped from 8.2 to 8.1.

@samuraiconservative The amount of vegetation is decreasing. Yes it allows plants to grow better, but doesn't make there more plants. The sea life aren't the ones suffering, we are. More carbon dioxides are making it easier for storms to grow and even begin hurricanes. Global warming isn't destroying the planet, just us.

@planetary109 No, you're information is incorrect. Satellite data confirms100% that TOTAL global vegetation is substantially increasing. Yes,a lot of rainforest is being cut down in various areas, but TOTAL aggregate vegetation is increasing. I know IPCC's AR4 report says CO2 is causing more/stronger storms, but that is false. Dr. Landsea, who headed the AR4 research team on this chapter, resigned because there IS NO EVIDENCE to support this fallacy and was very incensed about IPCC's lie.

@RESTxINxPIECEZ That is false and it's hard for trees to grow back when there are a lot of concrete buildings covering the entire ground. And yes, I use wood all the time, I would definitely prefer to use something else. Wood is being used for things that metal can easily do. I would trade all of my wooden objects if they were replaced by a different compound that hasn't been the home of an animal before. BTW trees take very many years to grow from a seed and by then, there's a building on them.

Ammachi3 Pascal's Razor argument should not be applied to AGW science. It has now become painfully obvious the Global Warming hoax is an entirely failed theory and that man-made CO2's contribution to naturally rising global temps is absolutely inconsequential. UK's MET office has confirmed 100% no warming since 1997. AGW theory has been entirely debunked. It's finished. Our biggest concern now is global cooling, with solar cycle 25 projected to be the lowest in 300 YEARS!

Simply incredible. Royal MET released paper admitting no global warming since 1997, but said global warming will come "roaring back." This is in spite of the fact that solar cycle 25 projections (also announced last week) show the next solar cycle could be the lowest in 300 years since the Maunder Minimum, which brought the Little Ice Age. This is quickly bordering on criminal incompetence to protect a political agenda. How long will taxpayers put up with this insanity?

@nickschor1 If there is additional heat from the sun, which causes additional water to be evaporated into the atmosphere, there will be an added greenhouse effect, however, there will also be an additional incidence of clouds, which will create a negative feedback of -21 watts/M^2. There is always a balance to the system, which explains why life thrived when CO2 levels were 1,000% higher than current levels.

After watching it research deeply into the science behind what they only briefly cover in the film. You will see that it is correct. Famous proponents for the theory, like Al Gore, just had the power and voice to get that side of the message across. However, it does not make it correct. Research well the other side.

We stand to lose lots if it right but will maybe gain a lot of paper money before we all burn, drown etc. But if it’s wrong, then we are fine and business will have to find another area to make profit in. Plus, the science in favour is just fraudulent anyway.

Great news! A letter was published in the Wall Street Journal today, signed by 16 prominent scientists proclaiming Manmade Global Warming proponents have greatly exaggerated the effects of CAGW and that the theory and models are wrong and inaccurate. This is just a trickle that will soon turn into a torrent, which will eventually sweep away this awful hoax.
