I actually like Adam West as Batman. He had the jaw, the gentleman voice and the dashing look. The only thing he lacked was a great body. Kane never [individually] created Robin, or The Joker (Bill Finger, & Jerry Robinson), he was a just a guy that simply that exploited his [then] artist/writer friends. What a hack. I am not saying he had NO part, i'm just saying that he made millions whilst his co-creator 'friends' metaphorically starved on the streets. I have spoken to Jerry Robinson in NYC a couple of times and he sums up Bob Kane with one word ... a "crook".

same can be said of stan lee seeing how he just wrote the characters when he never drew a thing in his life kane drew and wrote it, he did let it go through his head but i never heard about him being a crook...maybe there was some he said she said with ideas...wich happens in the industry when working with friends...i guess we'll never truely know but very interesting to know i will resaerch more

The only 'gift' Bob Kane had was he was full of sh*t. At least Stan admits that he had 'co-creators' and never spoke about inventing their characters 'look' but instead has been clear he dreamed up the initial idea or added the dialogue etc., Kane blatently lies in that he says he did EVERYTHING for every character.

i've never heard that at all , stan and bob are great friends infact he talks highly of him all the time, kane invented him based on zorro.... and the joker was credit design by his friends but from what i knew it was based of the man who laughs a movie of the 20's

chillinchillinkillin, that is a very ignorant post you made. Batman was a collaborative creation by Kane and Finger.
Had Kane not come to Finger, Batman wouldn't look the way he looks today.
Finger didn't think up the character on his own and Kane came to him with a concept and together they created what we have today.
Finger didn't go to Kane with the concept, Kane went to Finger. Kane dreamt it up and finger realized it.

bob kane did not create batman. Bill finger is the one who truley created the batman we all know, bob kane created a batman who had no mak no gloves and actually wings with red tights. After bill finger was involved i when the batman we all know was created. Bill also created two face, robin, and gotham city. Give credt where credit is due. Bob kane is a hack
