I wouldn't call it racist. I call it an eye for an eye. Turn-about is fair play. If he's gotta listen to Polk music played at 200db in -his- yard, why -shouldn't- they be subjected to bluegrass from with in -his- domain?
This was recorded on the Live in Japan album but this is not the cut from the album. This is from a much later album in 1989. It was recorded live in Alexandria, Va.
This is Charlie Waller and The Country Gentlemen. It is from the album World's Best Bluegrass Show I think. The album had J.D. Crowe and the New South, The Gents and the Seldom Scene. Recorded around 1989 or so.
I love this song period

I enjoyed this version very much.
I takes me way back!
It would be a bonus to see the actual artists.
Tom T. Hall did a great cover of the song,
but the person who says that Tom wrote it
is misinformed. Not to worry, I had to do
homework to discover that Tony Hazzard
wrote this classic. With and without nit picking,
pun intended, thanks to whoever posted this gem!

At least post a picture of the Country Gentlemen with this song as it is probably the best 4 part harmony there ever was in bluegrass.

It is the Country Gentelmen. Randy Waller singing lead.

That is Charlie Waller singing lead, not Randy. This was recorded in the 80's with Kent Dowell, Rick Allred and Bill Yates in the group.
