LARP and football are not as dissimilar as you might want to believe, both as team games that have various rules and regulations, both require skill and strategy in order to win the game and both are physically demanding. The few differences are that football is more widely regarded, and that LARPing is a contact sport. Hell, in both when a player is rolling around on the ground, it's just an act.

And from what I know, at least those fucking Italians don't LARP...
