  • I have probably spent over 100 nights from 1985 to 2005 on that very campsite.. The only thing you are going to catch in Tim lake, is Trout, and you have to jig deep for them.. That, by the way is my Favorite campsite in the entire park, and I have been all over it..

  • @GunFarce It sure is a great site. If I ever go to this lake again or stop by on my way to another I will take your advice with the jig. We figured because the ice was just coming out that they would be up to the surface to feed but aparently they weren't. It sure was windy while we were there and would have been hard to jig so we would have had to weigh it down with some heavy stuff. Thanks for posting.

  • i never get tired of this video either

  • gormet hotdogs mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • Every site was taken this weekend and they said it was fine for ice, but this one part wasn't. Yes it was dangerous but we were already there and very close to the site. As for fish, nobody else on the lake caught anything, everywhere else I've got fish with the same method.

  • Good times bro...That whole trip remided me of some of the trips I have been on. Its always good.

  • 9 days and counting our next journey shall comence with me and fishbrew on our most epic jounrey yet stay tuned for the footage from that

  • o and when jason says we didnt catch nething he means neither did ne 1 else on the lake or even a single nibble and thats the second lake on the west side of the park with 0 fish and 0 nibbles other 1 being north tea lake

  • Biggar lake off the east side of North Tea Lake offers good fishing, perch and trout.

  • haha! this was great!! :)

cant wait to visit justin!!!! :D hopefully ill meet you guys too :) x

  • Great, I heard you were coming down to visit Justin. If I'm in the area I'll stop by and say hello. Glad you like the video.

  • Yeah I cant wait.. I dunno how long I'll be staying for though seeing as it's gonna be a road trip from Ohio to Canada.. it's gonna take ages and we cant afford a Hotel lol but if you have time be great to meet you.. I've heard alot lol

  • I'm sure Nestleman21 has told you too much! hahaha. It's about 6-7 hours from Northern Ohio so it is a bit of a trek. Either way I am sure you will have a great time with Nestleman and enjoy a bit of Ontario.

  • Oooo yeah!! lol..... tells me all the time haha :)

  • not 2 mention the boat was loaded with about 800 pounds and a 3rd person sitting where there wasnt a seat and me having 2 act as an icebreaker the canoue was UBER tippy and jason and i were wet the entire time and my sleeping bag was meant for hot weather and it was wet and like 2 degrees but we are VH we are hardcore ALGONQUIN!!! and i look forward 2 wetlake july 2009

  • I noticed you couldn't help but stick a couple of mini beer reviews in there. Hahaha.

  • Under the table and discreet ofcourse ;)

  • I'm sorry for your misfortunes, but if you still had a great time, that's what really counts! I remember canoeing in Algonquin a few summers back. It was real nice, as far as I can remember.

  • Hahaha either way like you said, it was a great time. Sometimes the weather is good and the fish bite and others not so you always have to plan for the worst and this time we didn't.

  • Excellant stuff Jason! If I saw ice on the lake I would have turned and high tailed it right back home! Welcome back friend!

  • Thanks Gary, nothing would have stopped us after going that far.
