Got my Hanns.G - It came with a combo of 9 stuck/dead pixels and a busted stand. Thanks for encouraging me to pick this one up, I'll never believe another review from you again. The fact that you aren't allowing comments on your page without approval and none have been approved is a testament to how full of shit you are.
If you had one come with 9 stuck pixels and a broken stand....Complain. Why shouldnt you. 9 dead pixels is 1 more than is generally considered OK by most retailers. Besides that, if it shipped with a busted stand, it's damaged goods, and thus should be refunded by the reseller. That doesn't really have anything to do with how good or bad the monitor is, just how bad the company you bought it from or which carrier shipped it(which was never mentioned) treats it's inventory.
p.s. If you've not seen the literally TONS of spam that gets autoposted to Youtube feeds, then perhaps you don't understand why we opted to approve comments. We're not here to advertise Viagra to the world. :P
I don't know how you can say this is an 8 bit when its specs clearly show 16.2 million colors. Correct me if I'm wrong but 16.2 million is clearly 6 bit. Doesn't matter much to me as I ordered it anyway, but I'm wondering how you came to that conclusion.
Also this model is seperated as HW192DPB and HW192DJB models and I'm not sure what the difference is between the two.
There are 3 color "guns" or colored pixels in the case of an LCD, which are RED, GREEN, and BLUE. 8 bits per color allows 2^8th power representation of pure color levels, 256 levels. When combining RGB triads to show a representative color you get 24bit color, or 2^24th. This is approximately 16.7 million possible color variants. 6 bits per color would be represented as 18bit color, 2^18th power, or 262144 levels of color.
