@9042039 I think he just likes the look, and it would work if you had your chin on the petrol tank. It is a fly screen, I think it's designed to stop the clocks from getting covered in dead insects rather than to deflect wind from rider.
Your bike has the same "clunk" going into 1st that my Bandit does. It took me awhile to get used to that, but apparently that's just part of the charm of the bike
You are right "65" mine does the same in 1st, i have a B1200-99year i just bought new pistons and piston rings, cluch/brake levers, sprockets and chain, air filter, mirrors and many others things afftermarket.... i just fuck'in love this bike more then my girl-friend who's very very jealous in day time....in night time she's happy i give my self to her! hahah....

mines a 1999 model . it has a after market rear shock . u can see the shock remote resviour it has a foster can round it. bike is how i bought it . ive just ordered new chain and sproket kit for it . im also looking at putting on a stubby race can . will get more footage soon when its a bit warmer dryer etc...
If you haven't ridden a Bandit 1200S, You just don't know.

Hi, yey it's a really stable bike. This (b1200s K5) is my first big bike and it's still unscratched. :) (before I rode a 21 bhp bike).
