based off the damage the murk seems like a weapon that can be very strong if you build your character right. I just dont know if i want to put the extra 3 points of strength in order to 2 hand it on my dex build -.-

@Mustaklaki When players expose themselves by swinging recklessly until out of stamina, or force a turtle via using havel's shield/spear, or insist on using health pots/humanity, the result is usually a backstab. Try not to be surprised.

Is Murakumo really that useful ? haven't paid much attention to it

@Putridprudential It has a very interesting damage radius when used in rolling and jumping attacks, however normal attacks are quite slow. I don't see any reason to use it over some of the better weapons. In short, I wouldn't recommend starting a new character just to use the Murakumo.

@UOGSammich whaaat? i haven't played souls in a couple months so thats why i didn't know. i never used ring of fog but i don't agree with all the patching in games nowadays. it takes the whole meaning away from items most of the time. the fog ring was noobish but made it more awarding when u beat someone using it. just make the game and leave it, ya know? i was still really good at souls in pvp but theres ALWAYS someone complaining about something and soon there will be NOTHING left of the game

This video inspired me to try a dusk murakumo build (Using gmw with Oolacile Ivory Catalyst) only got 35 dex with +10 murakumo but damage is close to 500 already, can't wait till i get sl 120 and fully upgraded...

@arrowmanmike Then don't watch the video, problem solved. I suppose you missed the annotation that said this was all filmed in one night just an hour after I finished the build. This is a test, to see if the weapon is viable at tournament >level<, nothing more.

all i would say is, drop the shield, put avelyn in the shield hand.shields in pvp make it boring, if you can't block you have to be alot more cautious, and it will more than likely make your opponent get over excited realizing you can't block and make more mistakes.

the only thing id change is the strength from 28 to 19 and the int from 32 to 40. CMW with 32 is horrible 40 it will do max dmg. 2h moveset is stilll great. Its not like you ever use your shield anyways

@idrinkalotmorethanu There are two fights in the entire video where I got a backstab I didn't deserve... the joke Gravelord fight at the beginning, and the fight against the Havel's armor guy near the end. Every other backstab was the result of an opponent spamming attacks with a greatsword or rolling directly into it.... which is hardly "circle backstab whoring"

@idrinkalotmorethanu No it's cool, I see what you mean. It's that Dude Tzu guy I fought, he was using a weapon that ignored shields, so naturally he was 100% pressure all the time. I found that weakness (Backstabs + Avelyn) and abused the hell out of it. But that's his fault.

that weapons seems way to dam slow and has no aux efffect you should just use gravelord sword even tho u wanna u CMW but honestly its like ughh and recommendation for you would be when people throw fireballs at you just roll right towards them to hit them you rarely find smart people that throw without locking on
