The particle effects in this game (when the settings are turned up) are more intense than any other I've played. It can get almost out of control during raids and such. ;)

Default UI, I've just made most of them have transparent boxes and backdrops, and arranged them to my liking.

IIRC they are player crafted karabela avail. at level 40. I put a vampiric handle on one and a phantom handle on the other and I switch between primary hand depending on my need for health or mana regen.

It's fantastic. I think the only thing faster that you could get (at this time) would be quad core. For EQ2, which only is just beginning to use some threading for more than one core, a dual core is fine. I can surf, run iTunes, have the game on in a window, run Fraps, and parse, all at once, without even affecting game performance at all. Not mention that the game performance itself doesn't miss a beat even with high settings and particles everywhere in raids.
