  • 2:21 Xperia play?!

  • if you listen this while surfing in the ocean <3

  • I remember seeing this on "Amp."

  • my baby got an atom bomb

    a motherfuckin atom bomb

  • 10 people found a septic tank thinking it was a atombomb

  • what is the cartoon girl with the body guards near the end??

  • @wgh120 I think a Video Artist made it (the whole video) his name is Shaun Magher.

  • i know no one cares but Blade Trinity brought me here :DD

  • the original mix that was in wipeout xl was even more sick than this tune , it was future sound of london a hard to find mix for the " we have explosive " track

  • why can't we have clubbing music like this?

  • If I didn't knew better I would say this longer versions is just just that, a longer - extended - version of the same track. But I'm not so familiar with Fluke and their releases, so I ask someone well familiar with Fluke to comment on this. I would appreciate that. Till then I'll just pick up my AKGs and hit Play because I totally digg this track!

  • Note that these tracks were only titled as "Atom Bomb", so no mention of Chemical Brothers here either. I have listened to both this short version and the long version, and they are pretty much the same. The longer one has a slightly different intro, but overall, they use pretty much same elements. The longer one sounds a bit softer thou, more progressive.

  • And there is no mention of "Chemical Brothers" on any of the single, maxi single, album, cd or lp releases by Fluke. There are no credits or notes about it or whatsoever. I did, however, find several compilations featuring the long running Atom Bomb track by Fluke. One is titled "Favorit 1997", a cassette tape released on Microphone Records. There is also another cassette tape featuring the longer version of the track, it's titled "Wipeout 2097 The Soundtrack" on Virgin, 1996.

  • Is there a Chemical Brothers "remix" of this track?... I have an mp3 file titled "Fluke - Atom Bomb (Chemical Brothers Remix)", just something I picked up from some random download site several years ago. It's much longer then this "Atomix 1 Edit" or whatever this is. Mine is 07:58 but there seems to be no official Fluke release (according to Discogs) of Atom Bomb this long (I mean the track, not the actual bomb... of course).

  • 500th like! oh yeah!

  • Fluke come from Beaconsfield, one of the wealthiest towns in the UK. Mike Tournier attended one of the most academically exclusive secondary schools in the country in High Wycombe.

  • Comment removed

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this tune.

  • Dunno how about you, but I call this a "perfect girl".

  • awsome song from an awsome game

  • I love when dark electo music is not associated with cartoony goth sensibilities.

  • i miss this song, it came into my 41 yr old brain & kicked it open.

  • that episode 'True Night' from Criminal Minds has this track in the awesome film noir kill scene, it brought me here. love it♥

  • Lol this song is all about girls.

  • Put up a video of the "Snuke"

  • oh god dj warren has manipulated my bassline!!!!!

  • Cellphonelightsaber, pilot for Team Feisar.

  • enter the portal and see the beat bitches

  • what the heck????!!!!

  • Why is this this version censored?

  • Wipeout is just the best damn game series ever conceived!

  • I really miss Fluke from back when they were the awesome future-trance group from their Risotto days. The closest I've found is a spectacular fellow who goes by the monniker Solar Fields. His stuff is absolutely brilliant in terms of beautiful, bad ass, highly rhythmic electronic music. Also did the soundtrack for Mirror's Edge.

  • @Grubbo Right on! the music to Mirror's Edge was sick... thanks for the info on the artist for that I will have to look them up.

  • @Grubbo Fluke still kicks ass under their 2 Bit Pie project! ;)

  • @Grubbo I think I at least owe you a beer for telling me about solar fields :)

  • its so cool how they gave this music video a wipEout makeover.

  • I remember this video back in '98 or so, was this based on F Zero or Wip3out?

  • @sookster54

the game featured is wipeout 2097 - the game before wip3out..

  • is'nt this song from enter the matrix video game enz

  • MTV used to show cool videos like this one. NOT.ANY.MO!

  • THIS IS STILL MY SHIT!! This video used to get me hyped back in the '96. GOD I MISS THE BOX MUSIC CHANNEL! ARRRGH!!!

  • WIPEOUT WAS THE BEST IN 1999

  • Wipeout 3 was the best game ever.

    ever.

  • The funny thing about Ariel Tetsuo is that she was only ever featured in the original WipeoutT this track was made for the sequel: wipeout XL (aka wipeout 2097) but the character was never shown in game... Though this makes sense. The original was set in 2052. So she'd be like.. a 60 year old.. granny. ;(

  • @DEFkon001

She became the mascot for Fluke, could explain something maybe? I dunno.

  • que es esto ,que estilo de musica es.

  • @14infieles Electro/Trance...

  • Wow, I haven't seen this video in forever.

  • 2 people went to Kitten Moon instead of trying to survive a atom bomb.

  • wipeout XL correct?

  • Epic :)

  • wipeout yeaaaaah \m/

  • there is a new remix the song long for about 7 minutes and is quite better

  • totally ACE!

  • Way ahead of there time!

  • unbeatable!

  • hey this song kind of reminds me of a joke~ you like your girls like your underwear

    ~ dirty.

  • GODBALLSFUCK I LOVE THIS SONG!

  • This was one of the best games on Playstation, period. Fucking awesome soundtrack

  • Hmm, cool tune, fit bird in tight PVC catsuit... what more can you ask for?

  • 2:20 - baby got PSPGo, and probably she's playing WipEout PULSE.

  • @neoqueto I think it is a "PSPGo R3TR0" with "WipEout OldSkL" downloaded from PlayStation Store.

  • @AshPhnx her name is Rachel Stewart, she's the "mascot" for the group.

  • Not only did the game kick ass, you could pick up the sound track. It was in heavy rotaion when I was spinning back when. Fluke, Orbital, Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Leftfield...it's all in there. A taste of tunage from back when.

  • one of the best Electronic music videos ever. way better than 98% of the cheese videos they put out.

  • @akuma4u Yes. I miss the 90's and early 2000's EDM so much. The internet. old CDs and old VHS tapes are it's only savior for me.

  • i remember this. hahaha

  • Baby got a master plan.

  • @NetherRoam this isn't bad for now either. also junkie xl did the score for a videogame, check out "brakestow vale" on youtube, maybe it's here.

  • I remember the game would say what weapon u used like, "shockwave". that game had good music. I think it was one of the games where you could put it in a cd player and play the soundtrack from the game. psone did that for most of its games when it first came out.

  • WoW that atom bomb was in my ass yesterday! *_*

  • video game footage is from

    wipeout XL (us) / wipE'out" 2097(eu)

    from 1996

wonderful future racer - i tottally LOVE this game!

this song was released as single to promote soundtrack (still have in on cassette:)00000 and game itself

  • Who IS this chick?

  • @AshPhnx She is Rachel Stewart good luck finding much about her though.

  • @quilledbeast Rachel Stewart is a Scottish musician who became part of Fluke in 1996 roleplaying as Ariel Tetsuo, a fictional character from the Wipeout game. The female voice in the song is her voice. She's also a model and folk dancer (that's why she has that awesome body of hers LOL). In 2004 when Fluke's performances declined she joined forces with former EMF frontman James Atkin to form Beauty School in 2004. In 2005 her new band was joined by former Elastica drummer Justin Welch.

  • what game is this for?

  • Wipeout for PSone and a few other platforms I believe

  • @djcrysco Wipeout 2097 on the PS one, or Wipeout XL if you had a Saturn.

  • @djcrysco f-zero aswell on nintendo 64

  • @djcrysco it was from wipeout 2097, which was only released on psone only afaik. The original, wipeout, was released on multiple platforms

  • @djcrysco Wipeout 2097 for PSX +Sega Saturn

  • Wipeout XL for PS1

  • One of the all time great racers...

  • @AshPhnx wipeout 2097 the game ost is awesome called 2097 for year release i smoke weed in this years whit this game is coooool haha

  • @AshPhnx Wipeout 2097 for the psx

  • @AshPhnx: WipEout 2097, for PC, PS and others

  • @AshPhnx

More Exactly, it is the Introsequence of Wipeout 2097 for Playstation 1. But the Girl with the Purple Pigtails isn't to see in the Introsequence. This Girl exist only in this partial self maded Youtube Video. Its the first time, that i have seen this Girly. She isn't ingame.

  • @AshPhnx err. wipeout 2097, this with lots of other BIG choons... in fact all the wipeout soundtracks have been pretty spectacular.....

  • - The girl is, hands down; the hottest chick I have ever seen in my life.

  • And she's got pretty feet! ;)

  • From the greatest days of electronica circa 1997...MTV used to play this, can you believe it??? Tough chance now.

  • For years AMP was the only show on MTV that would air anything like this, and then it faded away.

Also this game introduced me to some great music. Prodigy, FSOL, Fluke...

  • when I first saw this, I found the chick with the purple hair smokin hot. She's the reason why I go to rave clubs at night.

  • game reminds me of total wipeout

  • sorry not total wipeout lol just wipeout for the PS

  • hmm Mia Kirshner, jej oczy cudowne, najpiękniejsze !! Kocham Ją !! *.*

  • If this girl was real, I'd propose.

  • A long time ago I watched it for first time. Music and video is amazing. I'll go to my basement and I'll find my PS. Maybe CD with WO2097 is still inserted in drive.

  • I haven't seen this video for at least 10 years. That girl in the PVC catsuit still gives me a tingly feeling when I see her. ;-)

  • After so many years this vid is still cool. :) Thanks for posting.
