HELPP for sum reason if i use that dj intro program the headphone controls control main output aswell as headphones .but if i use traktor the controls do nothing and i just hear the main output but it works if u set the monitor output on one set of rca's at the back
Personally, I use Numark Cue 7.0.2.0 Software (which is Virtual DJ Pro 7.0.2.0 with Numarks name on it). It is more user friendly than Traktor. I also broadcast through Shoutcast Servers.
The thing I had noticed is that you had set your left and right gain and volume to full, my question is Why? I find that setting one's volume and gains to a lower volume gives me more control of the sound, try it, you may be surprised?

Hey Dj Anomoly thanks for all the help but I have a question. I setup VDJ the way you did and I have two speakers coming out of each output. For some reason one of the speakers is on the "cue mixer" controls. I'm trying to get the speaker to play to one of the output channels in order to use my headphones. Any ideas what it could be? I have tried every combination possible on VDJ and look for it on google nothing comes up

Hi, I got problems with this issue. I use traktor 2 and When I keep cue knob in the middle point it destruct the sound and makes it a bit funny like metalic sound... yeah, my cue fader is acting like a crossfader also. I've configed it like yours and everything. Going to uninstall then reinstall. Hopefully that works.

@leonv62 You see an eye by the covers, you must click that and you will get some things. Press on the show covers and you won't see the covers anymore. :)

Hey so I just got the mixtrack pro with an active speaker but when i hooked it up it sounds distorded and the bass gets cut off completly but it sounds fine through the headphones any advice on fixing that would be great. thanks
could be a driver issue... also sometimes if your plugged into the wrong rca's or you have it setup wrong in virtual dj, make sure your config matches mine exactly, apply and save, close program... unplug mixtrack pro and start from scratch.

Try customise your Mixtrack to be exactly like two CDJ's:
1. Go to first beat- auto cue on a CDJ.
2. Jog Wheel Loop in/out/move- hold Loop button turn Jog Wheel on a CDJ.
3. Cue Block Select- Select Cue Blocks and have access to 42 Cues on a CDJ.
Then it'd be like owning two CDJ's, I also like to map a Transitions Button for VJing seperate to the mixer so I can VJ Transition Video's before or after I mix the audio component of the Music Video's.
I've noticed in your videos you use virtual dj. Is it better the traktor? Also is it possible to remap any of the buttons to work as hot cues? And i don't have the mixtrack pro i have just the mixtrack. So in order to set up my headphones i would have to get an external sound card and all right?

if you hit one of the cue buttons, things change in the software. same as if you move the crossfader, it changes in the software right?

If i press config: -Single TimeCode -Headphones -Numark
next to headphones it says: master: Chan 1&2 / Headphones: Chan 3&4
