Looked at mine and the module has the xtal put facing down with a notch allready on it,

thats like saying trimming the body of your truck will void its warranty. this is a cosmetic mod, requires disassembly of the radio and is near no electronics. i think you are being a little bitch. im sure hitec isnt going to shit on a high end customer for dremeling a notch out the side of the radio. moron.

Any cosmetic mod will void it. A friend of mine had done this already and ended up having his warranty expired because of it.

aint that some bullshit... thunderpower are a bunch of fuckers like that. my brother had one of there packs take a dump. has the manufacture date stamped right on the battery, and wont return it without the original receipt proving you are the original purchaser. what kinda crap is that!! spektrum makes junk but at least there customer service is top notch. buyer beware i guess.
