  • I have about 200$ to spend on a tablet im 15' so yey i need the works :D any suggestions?

  • Someone knows how to update to android 2.1?

  • does it have a camera?

  • Is there anyway I am able to use this as a Photoshop tablet? Someone gave it to me as a gift, and I want to use it for *something*, but I get an error when trying to download things from the market on the Nextbook. What application can I download from the computer to put apps on this?

  • My uncle bought me one of these, and I'm getting it this week. To be honest, the reviews and things I'm seeing online are making me a bit doubtful. However, I'm not ungrateful.

  • baaaams it has pornhub xD

  • I recently just got the nextbook multi media android, and it worked out great until I spent some time on the internet/youtube. . . It froze . . . any suggestions?

  • she was tapping that screen hard...haha

  • Wow so I really did buy a piece of crap!

  • Can you get the minecraft pocket edition on this

  • Comment removed

  • @9000teddy not the lowest but cheap

  • The lowest price on this thing is walmart they sell this thing for $97! I would say this has more features then your moneys worth to me! :)

  • Today my girl bought me this tablet/ reader. Just a newer version.

It comes with 2.0 GB of storage and of course the SD Card reader, and Android OS 2.1.

  • ok. i have about $150 to spend and, i would like to get a tablet, what tablet would be best for my needs? (gaming, videos, music, etc)

so far all i have found that is worth anything is to get a nook color and root it.

  • @tacos0816 I advise against this tablet. Get a used Nook or Acer Iconia A100 instead.

  • @MobileTechReview Hi, I do you know what the best android cheap tablet is? I only have about 150 bucks to spend, and I want a capacitive touch screen with not alot of lagg with games and movies....can you help?! thank you.

  • @tacos0816 Like I said, look for a used Nook Color, Acer Iconia A100 or original Galaxy Tab 7".

  • @tacos0816 i found a nextbook coluor in red at walmart.ca for only 85.00, try that.

  • @tacos0816 Get a Blackberry Playbook they sometimes sell for $199

  • @Fearless18525 its meant as a way to have many books for a low price... not cheap little games

  • its nonsense to call it an ebook reader with such a level of glare

  • Thankyou so much!!..you were so helpful.

  • @spinnergirl4u1 You are very welcome! Please help us share our reviews with friends and online.

  • IT EVEN AS PORNHUB PRE-INSTALLED, NOW THATS AWSOME 13:27

  • I saw this for sale for 90 dollars

  • Can you print?

  • youtube on this?

  • Thank you for reviewing this tablet. Now I know not to buy it.

  • ebook reader + backlight LCD = FAIL. short battery life, useless in the sun, bad for your eyes. Why would anyone like to read a book on LCD?

  • I'm planning on buying one of these for my mom for $99.97 at TigerDirect, however, I need to know one thing. Is there a typing app built-in? My mom loves reading and writing books, as well as checking her email. Is this a tablet capable of doing that?

  • $99 bucks at newegg canada !

  • @slader23 - $99.97 at TigerDirect.ca!

  • The cheapest one that I seen cost $89.00 at Big Lots.

  • CAN YOU PRINT FROM THIS?

  • I picked it up today from Big Lots. It may run 2.1, but it still does a hell of a lot, and it was sure as hell cheaper than my damned Iphone which I hate

  • not only is it at big lots for $89, but it also runs android 2.1...not 1.5

  • @EAFFAEEAF how long ago did u see them at big lots

  • @mstiffany06 i saw it on big lots website seconds before watching this video. so, 5 days ago.

  • @EAFFAEEAF Do you know how to update to 2.1? Thanks for help

  • these are now at big lots for 89 bucks

  • is it possible to stream online videos ?

  • It's not a completely bad device. But after seeing this I figured Id just save a little more and buy a more upscale brand. This weekend, this goes on sale at the local Big Lots for 90 dollars.

  • @TheChayLopez LOL thats why am here checking it out

  • Suckahs! I bought 2 for 48 dollars. Chumps shouldn't pay 200 for these.

  • @6364gg2 where did u get them

  • 価格コムにランクインしてたから

  • @popehigh562797 android did NOT make this. Nextbook made it and used android as an operating system. The what u just said would be the equivalent of someone saying that they cant believe that Microsoft/windows made a crappy e machines PC. (it doesn't have to be e machines. it just has to be any crappy computer.)

  • watching videos like this make me feel better about my dell streak 7

  • 2:28 - Did he just Farted???? xD

  • Let me see if I got it right... do u really have to hit (almost like a punch) the screen to got its answer?? No thanks.

  • its not an ebook reader if it doesnt have eink its a cheap tablet.

E ink is what makes an ebook reader, if your buying anything other than an eink device for the purpose of reading books your buying the wrong product, this is the only reason ebooks are popular because you can read just like a book in the same lighting conditions.

When tablets can produce screens that work from ambient light ebooks will become completely obsolete.

  • I just bought this thing and am utterly unimpressed. It feels cheap. The touchscreen doesn't scroll well. At the moment, it is completely frozen. Even holding the power button for 15 seconds hasn't resurrected it. I'm returning it tomorrow.

  • I have asked this so many times with no answer. Can someone please tell me, can I use web stick with nextbook? It's a usb stick for tmoble called the web connect stick so that you can surf the net anywhere you can use tmobile service. Thanks in advance. Bre

  • @breezyf67 No you can't use it with the Nextbook.

  • @MobileTechReview

    Thanks

  • its garbage i hate it too slow and it resistive touch screen with 2.1 how gay. eww

  • My god, books make better e-readers

  • does this have the text to speech like the kindle?

  • will the email work with free yahoo

  • can this be upgraded to 2.2

  • Woah,, that screen looks like ass.

  • THat is the worst screen ever

  • do u hve to pay montly ??

  • its pretty good so i dont know why you guys are complaining

  • i can give u arom to flash it with android market

  • is it easy to hold these er eaders in ur hand. i dont know cos i dont have one, though i have a 3.2 inch touch screen phone and its 125 grams and my fingers get tired holding it cos i cant hold it from the middle of the phone cos its touch screen, so my fingers are stretched holding it and it pains

  • 600 dollars for a cheap galaxy tab... thats a fucking rip off

  • @nlsnestevez i know too fucking expensive

  • how is the appstore on the nextbok is it all just "offbrand" apps or are there some pretty useful ones?

  • Dude!!!! The only good thing was the Shaytards and the Galaxy Tab. Good reviewing skills though.

  • OK, the price is not bad but the user experience looks just horrible! Bad touchscreen, old and extremely slow interface.

But thanks for reviewing all those readers here!

  • in something that big you might as well have an SD card. keep the cost down and the GB up!

  • you need to HIT the screen instead of TOUCHING it :)) Fail for a touchscreen :))

  • Kudos for giving these devices a thorough review, and not simply skimming over it.

  • All these crappy Android tablets will give Android a bad name for the average consumer. If they choose something like this, over a Galaxy Tab or iPad, their first impression(which always last) of Android will be a bad one, making them wary of buying Android in the future. Google obviously doesn't care about that, though.

  • Unattractive exterior/chassis, resistive screen and no full Android Market. I gotta say, this product is a fail. I think the best Android e-Reader out there is that new Nook. Thanks for the video, nonetheless, LisafromMobileTechReview

  • @fishnraps Oh, and the Android version :o(

  • lmao at porn hub hope it comes with internet security lmfao

  • 9th o ya

  • Pornhub FTW!

  • Ugly

  • First I was like, 'I'll give this a listen. :|"

    But then I heard 'resistive'.

  • @KingGoofy1 It's not nearly as bad as a GPS resistive screen, and at least that allows stylus usage. I just wish the OS was >1.5

  • Remember - it ONLY costs $89 at Big Lots. If you want more - then expect to pay more.

  • omg.... -_- that thing looks awful.

  • oh my gawd, thats not even worth reviewing, it mightve been okay in 2007, not late 2010

  • Well this is a crock of shit. Stuck in the dark ages of resistive screens and defunct hardware, ridiculous in late 2010.

  • kind of outdated isnt it? resistive touch, android 1.5, crapy lookin screan... good video though

  • LCD = not an eReader
