actually u can git a pet dragon (sortof) when u beat story mode u will hav a certain shout (Call o-sumthin forgot the name) that u can call a dragon 2 help u out in times need but only in certain situations i haven't used it yet but i believe u call cal it a pet dragon

Dude, if you want a true pet dragon, just install the Creature & NPC Control script mod. I have a true pet dragon that acts like a follower. I can tell it to wait, follow, attack others, etc.
@theycallmesushii no.. lol@your knowledge! dragon call summons a dragon that flys and attacks people and enemies , the dragon you summon can only fly apart from the first time you call him , in dragonreach! you imbecile!

there is a mod that gives you real pet dragons (2 of them)
the mod is called "Rex & Rhoana The Pet Dragons"
when ever you are in trouble they will help you out ^^
