The literal translation means in laymans terms, that those who are truly saved are no longer at enmity (or enemies) of God, but we now have peace with God as sons and daughters. It is not a peace that man shares with man, nor is it merely a "feeling" (though it's effects can be felt). It is a proclamation by God over us and enables us to be at peace in the world no matter how bad things seem here.

The literal translation means in laymans terms, that those who are truly saved are no longer at enmity (or enemies) of God, but we now have peace with God as sons and daughters. It is not a peace that man shares with man, nor is it merely a "feeling" (though it's effects can be felt). English or latin bible will not give you good understanding of what is what. You should read hebrew bible to understand the real meaning of everything. Hebrew bible have great connection with our modern world. Who would have taught? The translation to latin and english was incorrect in many places there. Just look the internet.

Throughout protestant history there have been many attrocities and murders against Catholics. However I would not use this to argue against Protestantism as the theological flaws speak for themselves. That we worship on Sunday because Christ rose from the dead on Sunday and the resurrection trumps the 4th commandment. I told him it was "crap.". The Council of Laodicea in 634 changed the days of worship from Sat. to Sunday in honor of a pagan sun god, not because of the resurrection.

I have heard the prophecy about the Messiah returning when Ariel Sharon dies, seems odd he hasn't died yet and here it is...2012! There may be something to this, because he should by all rights be dead, by now. He has been in a coma for several yrs now. Also, this Rabbi sealed this info about who the Messiah is, and would not let it be opened until he died. When opened, the letter states that JESUS is the Messiah! Very interesting stuff! We will know something this year...and I can't wait!
